Agreed - I dislike Jude F'n Law with a passion, but he did very well in this. Avatar is good (not the next coming as some would have you believe) but it's long...

Saw it the other day and as much as I enjoyed it, it made Holmes and Watson look like Butch and Sundance.....Can you say sequel????

I liked Avatar also.

A tad on the long side but a good film nevertheless.

Saw Bubba-Ho-Tep for the first time last night - I was expecting very little, but I was pleasantly surprised. Quirky film, made me sad at the end.

A must-see film has been released this year - The Road. Saw this earlier, and it's a work of art. Viggo Mortensen is especially great.

The new George Clooney film "Uo in the Air" is very good also.

Do fancy seeing "The Road". I have read the book by Cormac McCarthy so it will be interesting to see how the film compares.

Is it actually funny, as it's labled as a comedy?

From the cinema trailer clip on the web it looks absolute crap. Was thinking of going to see it lastnight but after watching the trailer didn't bother and ended up seeing What Happend To The Morgans with the Mrs. An ok film i guess but certainly couldn't rave about it, funny in small places.

I know we are behind here, as it has already been discussed. I took my wife to go see Avatar yesterday.
We were well impressed.

Up in the Air was good, but nothing like a comedy - I found it quite depressing at times actually, but it was a very good film.

Wolfman = poor. Took long enough to be released, yet looked like it was half-assed.

Ponyo = good if you like the anime/cuddly Japanese style. It was, what I imagine, an LSD trip to look like.

I've only watched about seven films in my life, but sat through Green Street 2 the other day. Thought the first one was reasonable, but anyone who thinks this tripe is any good needs serious help. Utter arse.
