Have just seen the new full length green band trailer for Predators.

If anyone doesn't know it's been a labour of love for Robert Rodriguez (favourite director at the moment) for some time now and is a direct sequel to the Arnie actioner and i have only three words: OH MY GOD.

It looks absolutely fantastic. Great cast (Fisburne, Brody, Trejo), visually stunning with hardly any CGI and has the potential to be one of the action films of the year.

Check out the trailer now either on youtube or TotalFilm.Com

Green Zone was quite good - saw it last weekend. Unfortunately, the shaky hand-cam effect doesn't work for too long because it was so rhythmical, it almost sent me to sleep.

Oooooh Sounds exciting!! I thought Predator 2 was the direct sequel? If it hasnt got Arnie in it, cant be that great though!

Fist - If you want to send your boy to sleep, ask Mike to give him directions from Dartford to North London via Vauxhall bridge  :-D

Watched "In The Loop" again the other night

Haven't laughed as much in ages. Peter Capaldi is absolutely brilliant playing the spin doctor Michael Tucker.

The BBC tv series"The Thick of It" on  which the film is based is also worth watching, especially if you like the odd swear word

You ignored Gerard "I've not done anything great since 300" Butler!

I saw Shut-eye Island last week - it's too long, the twist is too obvious (I had guessed it from the trailers) and it doesn't capture the imagination enough. I also watched American Psycho last night with Christian Bale in - his best work that I've seen and it looks like actual acting rather than growling & prowling (as in the Dark Knight)

Gary, I agree American Psycho is excellent (read the book, too) and Bale is at his best but have you seen The Machinst? Brilliant film and Bale again is outstanding. He lost so much weight for that film (down to about 8 stone). This was why he was regarded as one of the best up and coming actors. And then he started taking acting lessons from a bear...........Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Or Tony the Tiger?  xwhis

Butler did RocknRolla. Brilliant film. Mr. Strong as Arch - superb in everything he does.

saw A in W at weekend. Pretty good, but could not make out what Johnny Depp was saying half the time. Went to see it at the O2. The staff there are 'kin useless , slow etc. etc.

Did offer to take the wife to Bounty Hunter, but couldn't get in. Top result it seems.
