Kick-Ass: The finest film of the year so far. Wonderful, very entertaining, soundtrack fits perfectly. I actually do want to see it again which is a change. You must see this.

Filming is taking place down by London Bridge on the Queen's Walk today for "London Boulevard". Apparently, Ray Winstone is going to be there later on filming. Don't know whether it's of any interest to anyone xshrug

I think the Iron Man TV adverts don't do the actual film justice, it doesn't look like it could be a good film on TV but it's actually quite good when you get to see it.

Cue inevitable responses.

I've just seen it, didn't rate it tbh-seemed to drag on for quite a long time, however the effects used were very good.

He's done some decent stuff - Tropic Thunder, Sherlock Holmes (acceptable, perhaps not good), Natural Born Killers, Weird Science...

Just seen Iron Man 2 - decent enough, although the plot wanders around a little bit. I think they tried too hard to have lots of characters in their own story arcs. At least RDJ & Sam Rockwell (who is fast becoming my new favourite actor - Frost/Nixon, Moon and now this... quality) had decent roles.

Iron Man 2 reminded me of Spider-Man 3 but less terrible; too many characters, the plot jumped around too much and the villain was stupid. Shame, I loved the first Iron Man.

Hot Tub Time Machine is actually a lot better than I expected it to be. Gets in early with the scatological jokes, but it's definitely worth seeing.

Check out Matchstick Men. Rockwell is brilliant in that and it's quite a good film with a nice twist. Down side, it does have Nic "the hair" Cage!
