As you know i love Bad movies and over the weekend i saw a classic called "The Creeping Terror".It  was composed of an alien that was made of sewn together rugs and propelled by students that were hired from UCLA (you could see the sneakers underneath). It crawled around the countryside sucking people into what looked like a giant vagina. It only ended the terror when a policeman ran it over in his car. They dont make them like that any more.

I saw "The last house on the left" last night - took far too long to get into the meat of the film, and had a totally unnecessary sexual assault scene which prompted some of the cinema to leave. When it got into the main course of violence, it was good.

I watched Shrooms teh other night. Interesting twist (if you discount the fact I guessed it about 20 minutes into the film) but what really annoyed me was there were parts that just did not fit into the reason for the twist. I dont want to say too much because some people may want to see it....

Tonight I have Battle Royal II! Apparently not as good as the first one but we'll have to wait and see! Did anyone watch any of the Ken Loach films that were on film 4? Saw Riff Raff the other night, very British dark comedy, great film with Robert Carlisle being the usual Scottish bum he plays so well!

Caught "The Hangover" - surprisingly good throughout, and the best parts of the film were also surprisingly not in the trailer. Tyson had a bigger role than I thought he'd have, and a good film to watch.

JOHNDFC - The second BR is not as violent and a bit of a love story thing going on so no, I dont recommend it (unless you like a plot in your japanese gore fest films).

I watched the 'Story of Anvil' last night. Deffo worth watching, really good film, regardless if you like the music or not. Reminded me of my touring days, especially getting shafted by promotors!!

Saw Public Enemies on Saturday - was looking forward to seeing it, and although I wouldn't dissuade anyone from seeing it, it was about 40 minutes too long, and some shaky camerawork made it quite uncomfortable.

Depp, of course, is excellent in it.

Saw Bruno last week - not that impressed, but I'm not a fan of his anyway. Saw Moon today - fantastic film, a crime that it is only out on limited release; well worth anyones money to see it.

Watched Fido on Friday, rubbish but then, what can I epect with a plot line that involves zombies as slaves....was like Shaun of the Dead two but not as funny.

Watched behind enemy lines yesterday, classic film although Owen Wilson as a war hero is a little debateble (God my spelling sh*t) and I think a stronger actor could have made that part better.

Agree on Bruno, it had about 3 big laughs and only a handful of smaller ones - hardly par for the course of a 'comedy'.

Wanted to see the hangover but I think it's stopped running  :-(

Try Bat 21 ( i think). pretty much the same movie, but instead of owen Wilson, it has Gene Hackman as the guy needing rescuing. Much better version.

Constructive criticism?? Don't get it. If it's still criticism, how is it constructive?
