I used to watch the video about once a month and we still bore each other senseless swapping quotes down the pub. I do hope you started up a chant of "We are the Mods! We are the Mods!" before tearing through John Lewis in persuit of some rockers "I'll tell you what you can do with your eye-teeth and your job, you can take that mail and the franking machine and all that other rubbish I have to go about with, and you can stuff them right up your arse!
Finally got to see "In The Loop" on BBC2 t'other night ..... UTTER GENIUS. A film (of a show) that finally lays to rest the ghost of Yes Minister/Prime Minister. I'm a long time fan of Armando Iannucci and, once again, he delivers the goods. Brilliantly written, superbly acted and the best swearing by an actor (Peter Capaldi) that there has possibly ever been."Climbing the mountain of conflict"? You sounded like a Nazi Julie Andrews!"

I shall look out for this. Iannucci rocks - the DIY mishap graveyard sketch from his eponymous show made me laugh fo days
Watched Alice in Wonderland on Saturday, my first ever 3d film!! Once bluewater managed to get teh film going (3/4 hour later), I really enjoyed it. Probably could have been a little darker but all in all a good film.
John J. Bullied into going to see A in W by your daughter??? Yer alright mate. It's the child coming out in you, but to blame your daughter. I'm going Saturday and I'm a 57 year old kid myself.UTD
Well JohnJ. I'm with you, having seen Alice it weren't a scratch on Avatar. Depp was good and I loved the March Hare but that was it. Special effects carries it along, but a bit disappointing.UTD
