they were great hosts when we  last played them in the RLN1 and from memory cody mc hit the bar and the post in first 10 minutes and then we scored 5 to win easily , that was when we first reckoned on cody !!!!!!!!!!!!!

they were relegated last season so we should turn them over but should be a good run out and keep up the  [ good ] winning habit

Hi Lads,

Like Eagle 88 has just said we hope to see as many of you down as possible to support our club and the game tomorrow.

We havnt had a bad Pre season ourselves only losing 5-2 to a full strengh Southend Side and Beating AFC Sudbury on Tuesday night 3-1.

Hope to see Plenty of DARTS tomorrow at the game.....

Cant make this one as im away in Dorchester for the weekend, im gutted as i was looking forward to this one and wanted to go. Hope its a good game, we take a few with us to give Witham some extra revenue & of course we win. GOOD LUCK to Witham for the coming season. COYDs

 By Road:

Witham is situated between Chelmsford and Colchester on the main A12 trunk road.

If you enter from the north or south make your way to Spinks Lane set of lights opposite the RAFa Club turn into Spinks Lane where signposts will direct you to the ground.

By Rail:

Witham Station is on the One Great Eastern Line between London Liverpool St and Colchester Ipswich/Norwich. Journey time from Liverpool street to witham is approx 45 minutes.

From Witham Town Train Station
On foot turn left out of station bear left on railway bridge , cross road, then follow road to right at mini roundabout. Then walk right into Almond Road left into Chelmer Road left into footpath and then take right fork path to see Witham Town FC facing you! 

Cabs are available from outside the station.

i'm definately going [ along with trevB ] and understand that that international jet setter [ gilesey] is flying back especially from aberdeen to put in an appearance - part- timer ??

looking forward to the day [ hope they have got the grub on ??] and seeing the darts continue to develop as a [ new ] team

saw alan tait last night  [with burger in hand ] walking around the ground with andy young , hope we get to see a bit of him at witham , we know all about andy ,  so he can have another week off to rest the leg !!!!!!!

how much to get in

some dart fans anti paying inflated prices for friendlies

for most away  league  games we take 250+ but with it being holiday time etc i guess it will be lot less but hope a good number turn up cause it adds to the atmosphere and will give you guys a welcome [ i guess] few extra bob 

those who dont go will [ based on our last visit ] miss out !!!!!!!!!!!

Will miss this as working, its a pre season friendly so would expect some die hards there, possibly as many as 70!

Enjoy it but same as usual plenty of rotation and injury free, would place more importance on next Tuesday, the return of Dave Martin and expected crowd of around 2000.
