Now that I've finally managed to identify Burns, I must say how impressed with him I was today - far more than I was by the man he might replace -Jamie Day, who I thought was below par.

:-o  I really don't think anyone is going to replace Jamie Day just yet  xshake

Does't burchill start a 2 to3 month suspension

Kent FA I assume? Why they still insist on their draconian rules I do not know!

Anyway the reason I popped over, hows Bradbrook doing for you guys?
He's been first rate so far. Today against Folkestone , in particular, he was excellent and deserved Man of the Match imo.

i think todays game has sorted out the final places up for grabs ,i dont agree with the body laguage comments on tait , all of the fans next to me could see what a class player he is and what a handful ,  just imagine when he is fully fit , wouldnt mind him on my side in a scrap  !!!!!!!!!!!

i prefer beales over coyle because coyles distribution from the back means he too easily gives the ball away , jamie days new [ attacking ] role has won me over and to compliment this it has to be burns as dafter has not looked the part , james white has done great but cant fit him in instead of day

tait up front for me with burchell on after an hour especially if things arent going to plan

young , burgess , flanners ,  gross , hayes ,  day ,  bradbrook and haworth certain starters for me

roll on horsham

TB will no doubt surprise a few with his starting 11 next week (roll on!) but totally disagree about Tait, no doubt has a big future here at PP but the bloke clearly is not match fit so simply should not start next week if he still is not 100%, we have just played VCD and Folkestone, run of the mill RL South teams and he is not up to speed! My own personal opinion of course and will fully get behind whoever takes the field next Saturday because there isn't a single poor player in this seasons squad!

Just  like to apologise for my comments about Alan Tait.I should have made sure I was aware of the facts before I formed an opinion.I thought he'd been training, just not playing. In which case he did well chasing about up front on his own on a very hot day.

We was never threatend at all by Folkestone and a fairly easy day for the defence. Must admit that Taits body language at times does give a cant be arsed impression but i think this is more out of frustration and tiredness especially if he has only had 1 proper training session so clearly isnt fit & is struggling. On this basis cant surely be up for selection for a starting place just a sub at present. I would still have Beale at the back in place of Coyle as Coyles distribution of the ball isnt great, to many long lumped balls, im think TB will pick him though. Midfield i think White is safe and Day will get in ahead of Burns. Up front Rob Haworth & Birchell.

My starting X1 would be Young Burgess Beale Flanagan Gross Ryno White Day Bradbrook Haworth Birchell. I think TB may go for Coyle in for Beale and possibly Tait in for Birchell. Who'd want to be DFC manager with all these headaches.

As Ryano took that Brilliant shot, I happened to be just above his line of vision. I almost kicked it in myself...lifting my left leg and jumping in the air (with the ball)...over the keeper!!!
Assisted Goal of the early season for me!!!

I think Ryano received it quickly from the corner flag, from Jamie Day. He mumbled something to JD, moved a couple of steps forward and MEANT it! Stunning, Quality Goal! That's what he celebrated for! Wouldn't you???
