Not too early, 2scoops.  Only 5 days to go.   xnod

As TB said, this is the "nitty gritty".  It's been a long wait.  Hopes and expectations are sky high.  There's been a lot of debate about the line up.  Most of us seem to prefer a 4-4-2 formation.  And lets hope for a really good turn out (over 1500?)

So, get it on.  COYD.   xtip xtip

Hopefully a better home start than last season (ok we were playing the eventual champions). All guns blazing and solid 3 points is what we need!

Gutted i'll be missing this one (chose my holiday dates badly) but hopefully Mikey will keep me updated!

gota be 3points and a clean sheet.

Attendances will rise towards xmas as the wins keep coming and people return from holidays.

Hoping the holidays wont affect the attendances too much.

Yes at last! Looking forward to the opener at PP and the away game at Hastings the following saturday. It would be good to meet some of you this season and have a few beers in the bar before the game. The squad is looking good and think promotion is realistic. Darts to win this one 3-1.

Going on the last couple of seasons first Saturday home game, expect attendance to be around the 1000 mark.

horsham will be a tough test as they are managed by an experienced on league manager  [ john  maggs ] and have added some quality to their squad including a couple of days ago an ex league player who is also an eire under 19 international

the pressure will be on the darts as league favourites , 1st game at PP and horsham will relish it and raise the their game

league is won over 42 games but this will be a great indicator of the NEW darts

hope a big noisy crowd get behind the darts , really looking forward to it

Ah the sun at PP which will greet a new season! (well maybe the sun will shine?? bbq summer and all that!)

Excited faces all on the walk to the ground

The green velvety surface and the fresh white lines of the pitch and the smell of the cut grass!

All this and Kent in the 20/20 finals day on Saturday as well a perfect weekend of sport ahead! Sorry to go all Stuart Hall on everyone but can't wait for Saturdays big kick off!

The Dark Uncle has to interject here ( if it's allowed Gary?). Now Daniel, 20/20 is a visual acuity issue...unless of course you refer to the comedic sport known as Cricket. Surely mon ami, any so called sport that allows players to nip off for a cup of tea inbetween play, must be considered suspect?
Oh & a Darts win by 2 goals.
Witnessed by at least 1700.
