Re:John
Fair comment all round except the part where you say its true we should be relegation candidates. Have you seen us pre-season?  Why should it be true? My point was mainly towards the comment we'll be push overs for all teams. What utter rubbish. This league will see many surprise results this season & no one team stands out as title contenders. Similarly for relegation.

Its good to talk & I'll be the 1st to accept the flack if we were to fail miserably tomorrow night.
Hoping for a well fought & entertaining game by both sides.

We've still got a surprise in store for you though in addition to those that you mention. 8-)

The reason for you being favourites for relagation is purely down to  the bookies,But i would have had you above Waltham Abbey.I expect a full bloodied encounter with no quarter given and if we should lose we will take it and move on. I have got the suprise.Do you have larger dugouts for Neville Southall or Terry Yorath is going to put his boots back on.Now that would be Scary. If you don't tell i am not sure i will sleep tonight.

Sleep well in that case. :-)  Introduce yourself to me if you venture down tomorrow night won't you? Ask anyone & they should be able to point me out to you & it'll be good to see big Rob Haworth again. Smashing fellow.

i would be dissapointed if we didn't beat margate as we are a better team but should we not win we will just have to accept it and go on to the hastings game saturday.although i expect a tough game on tuesday.

I'm hoping that we can improve on our massive one point haul from two league games against Margate last year.

Margate have apparently got Jamie Lawrence and Isiaih Rankin out of their bathchairs to play .Blimey that must be a combined age of nearly 80 although to be fair Lawrence played well for Harrow last year..Maybe TB might consider a comeback.

The beach at 5 sounds about right. Time for a few cold ones and off to Hartsdown Park to see hopefully see a Darts win.

Any decent real ale pubs in Margate these days/

What's the car parking like at Margates ground?
Their website recommends parking by a local tower block but does anyone know if this
is the best option or not.

Nah would park in the road right outside the ground no problems at all!

Well we were pretty ordinary in both games last season against Margate so hopefully we will do the business tonight to show them that we are a good side!

Felt The Gate looked a decent side last year bearing in mind they were a very young side so with a bit of 'experience' in there for them should make them a better side but we should really be winning games like this if we are to do the business this year no disrespect to the gate faithfull!

Apart from a small area for players and officials they do not have any parking. Generally can park in the street outside the ground quite comfortably.Although the centre of Margate is only 10 minutes walk through the park from experience i would not recommend leaving your car there.
