Unless Noble plays an absolute blinder tonight (he's just come on as a sub against Hendon) and at Bognor Saturday and wins both MOTM votes in those games then it looks like Danny Harris has won the Pure DFC Player of the Year Award for this season. As Burnsy isn't playing tonight he can't now catch Danny.

Im guessing that after scoring both goals tonight that he'll win MOTM Vs Hendon now as well  xbow xbow.

I wouldn't count out Daffy, he was immense, and deserved it for taking the cut on the cheek from a head butt, WITHOUT retaliation. Either way, it's Danny's trophy

Congratulations to Danny Harris on winning the Leach/Towersey Memorial Shield. I made a mistake in calculating the matches needed to win the award officially and thought it wouldn't be possible to present at Bognor because of it. Apologies for that - the presentation will take place at the club's presentation evening on Friday, but I'm hoping to get video of it for the site.

I think it's amazing that out of the 25+ names in the list, in the whole season only one is "no longer with the club" (although there are some - e.g. Jay May, Joao Carlos, Chris Wimshurst, Conner Heffernan - whose status I'm not sure of. Are they still offically "on loan"/Under 21s?")

Jay May and Joao Carlos on loan. Conner playing for ther Under-21 team. Chris injured again after a brief return to the Under-21 side after his previous serious ankle injury. Personally I doubt we will see Carlos again.
