At least I've got a topic for Saturdays commentary after I upset Martin Tyler with some of our commentary! "Who have you upset who is famous?" is Saturdays topic

So what did you say to upset him then Mr C?  xgiggle

Where do we start?

5 Goals, two disallowed and a penalty miss. Add to this that one of those ruled out was a completely joke of a decision. Given off side when they had a defender on the line!!!!!  xshrug xshrug xshrug

Yes but where were the other defenders and in particular the goalie shake my head shake my head shake my head shake my head

Not sure what your point is WW. It dose not matter where the rest of team were. If a mans on the line it can't be offside.

Maybe I have missed the point mate

According to the podcast Tony says that Lee Burns can play right back, centre midfield, right midfield & up front. He's certainly doing the business up front.

What a player  xbow xbow xbow and certainly now seems to be the signing of the season  xnod.

Obviously not xshake xshake xshake xshake

How many defending players (which could include a goalkeeper) have to be between the forward and the goal for him to be onside.
I would take a wild guess at TWO.

My view on the disallowed goal - Obviously the defender wasn't on the line as Rob would have then had to head the ball into the back of the net whilst already behind the goalline xshrug However whilst he may have been marginally offside when the ball was played, the linesman did not flag. The defender headed the ball behind him thus making Rob onside and then he headed home at which point the linesman put his flag up. If he'd have flagged immediately when the ball was played he would have had a case but the defender heading the ball played Rob onside and it was only after that when the flag went up :(

Both disallowed goals were offside,Bradbrook came back from a offside position to score and Rob was  behind the goalkeeper when he headed the ball past the ONE player on the line.

My first game back after the holiday and a very polished performance all round, with plenty of inter-passing, one two's and on the deck football plus long searching cross field passes that found the men on either wing.

Burns is a revelation and can be forgiven for the penalty miss when scoring a hat-trick and his linking with Rob seems to have helped Robs game as he chases all over the field in search of the ball.

Another clean sheet for the defence and total command of the midfield made the game look easy and showed that almost all the Kingstonian players were a yard slower than ours as we closed down and pressurised them throughout the game.

Lets hope for two more good results on Saturday and Monday before The Duke returns to jinx us

Just had a listen to their managers post match interview on their forum, interesting.................

However i felt he let himself down by putting some blame on the officials, i though both linesmen were good but the referee equally poor for both teams.
