No White so Dafter in or Noble?

A draw at home not a disaster but a win at the Urchins will see us re - inforce our position at the top, start with the fittest front 2 please.

Let's just hope the tunnel traffic isn't tailed back as far as it was on Friday and Saturday. How much bank holiday traffic is there going to be around midday tomorrow and which way is it more likely to be going, I wonder?

After reading yesterdays programme, its states that there is some sort of do in Hornchurch tomorrow, so an early start is recommended.

If going by car I would suggest going the back way. Though the tunnel take first exit and go as if you were going to Aveley down ship lane when you get to the end,T juntion turn left [High St] when you come to the cross roads turn Right [ Mill road] continue to round about go straight over [ Romford road leading into Aveley road and then into Park farm road, The road bends right at the White house pub and becomes Haton lane. Stay on the road keeping left as you pass the Optimist pub [on your right] this will take you to Upminster High Street, Turn Right the ground will be the 4th turning on the right Bridge Ave.     Happy motoring.

Thanks, Wilkie - I'll try what you suggest. I've already sussed out the route courtesy of AA Routefinder and the A-Z.
I still can't make my mind up what time to leave, though, given possible hold-ups at the Dartford Tunnel and the parking problem with the Graham Gooch "do". I'm thinking roughly in terms of leaving Swanley at 1.00pm and entering the M25 at the Princes Road junction.... so fingers crossed!

Old Timer & anyone else going by public transport

Beware of the engineering works today. There is no District Line to Upminster Bridge.
National Rail suggests Jubilee Line from London Bridge to West Ham and overground to Upminster. Journey time from Dartford about 1hr 45mins

Dave, thanks for that.

I am in London early doors so I was going to go direct to Upminister from Fenchurch Street. Then about a 5 minute walk to the ground.
