Darts v Hendon Match Thread
« on: August 31, 2009, 08:20:45 PM »

We have tended to start games a bit slow, we need to be at the races from first whistle and not wait until the second half

One day we will get caught out

Only another 66ish points to go

Mind you who can complain about our fantastic start to the season

Think most of us would be delighted with a point up there, another new ground for me and I've heard it's very good, so quite looking forward to it, even if we do get gubbed...

Think it will be a good game--certainly hope so ....I think you'll  like our ground...we're certainly very proud of it...you'll find us a very welcoming bunch so come along early and have a drink in one of our bars.

If you're coming by car, the car park does tend to fill up quite quickly, but there are a number of alternative options close by.

There will only be pictures from the 1st half of this game as I have a prior engagement at 4:20 (A forum members wedding  xwhis xwhis xwhis xwhis)
As Sony is still away there will be no highlights either.

Hope you had a good time on your hols, Duke.  Also hoping that it's just a fitness issue with Tait  (?).  Time will tell.

Am also looking forward to my first game since Hastings due to my holiday in Chicago . Thank goodness for the internet is all I can say. I feel for people who tune in for games though as it is agony. I was sitting by the computer for the whole of the Wealdstone game refreshing the screen and it was pure agony . Managed to catch the youtube highlights of the Kingstonian game and many thanks to Sonytino for the coverage . Also caught SkySports News this morning to see the top half of the table and delight that we are top of the pile at the moment .
