Fair play Hendon Boy.I thought you moved the ball about quite well at times without ever looking threatening, but defensively you were up against some blinding defenders who just looked stronger and faster than your forwards.Compared to the teams we played last year I would make you top ten.

Rambo, I don't think Hendon were as bad as you make out, because once they get their full squad back and come up against teams without an Andy Young, they will score goals from the chances they create and probably are a better team than bottom six.

I am most surprised that you didn't stress that had Whitey been playing it might have been 10-0. xwhis xwhis xwhis

Hendon certainly arent as bad as you make out rambo, yes they do have defensive problems and no the 3 wasnt that good he gave the penalty away and i think it was him that fouled Rob for what shouldve been a 2nd penalty. The keeper made some saves to keep the score down. They was dangerous and fast in attack though and had it not been for Andy Young & their forwards forgetting their shooting boots then the score may well have been different. A bit more credit & respect is due to them even though we did beat them well.

Hendon tried (like every club that comes to PP) but lacked overall quality, yes they had a couple of decent chances but our defence and keeper did their jobs well, at no point did I feel that Hendon posed a constant threat, I was more worried about the officials! We can on the other hand improve further and our squad is quality! Hendon will finish top 12 for me.

well chaps we beat hendon by 5 goals and it could have been more.which team at all levels of football loses a game and does not score or nearly score.i cant say i care where any team in this division finishes except for dartord.i dont really know why i am in a hendon debate but strangely i agree with kebabus in that the officials posed a greater threat to us than hendon did

as for whitey i am counting the days to his next game, any news on his injury anyone

I'm delighted to see the voting for the Man of the Match show our appreciation for the part played by the defence, even after a 5-0 victory.
