Chipstead vs Dartford FC

Speaking to someone in the bar after the game and former Darts player Mickey Collins, has signed for them does that mean TB could start next week?

A good player in his time but got to be past it now. Flanners will eat him for breakfast.

I think that we will see a few changes to the starting line up for this match .

IMO I think that TB will give a start to Tait , Beales , May , Noble , Kessel and Sean to keep them match fit.

I know we should never under estimate other teams but Chipstead have not won all season so what better time to shuffle the pack and keep things fresh.

Had this chat in the bar before the game.  The FA Cup is a very important trophy.  There is a lot of money to be won and the possibility of a large amount of press coverage if we are lucky to reach the first round and draw a big club - Norwich / Millwall / Charlton etc.  I therefore feel that we should start with the regulars and make the most of the substitution opportunities if we are in a position to relax during the second half of the game.  Save the major rotation for trophy, League Cup, County Cup etc.

Come on you DARTS!

both fair posts but IF we believe that the bench players are quality [ i do ] then we should have no hesitationin them being in the starting line up

however i dont believe in mass changes and reckon that kessel , beales and may should start with the others mentioned coming on IF things are going to plan

UP THE DARTS

May be give Beales, Noble & May a run out with a strong bench as per normal but keep Andy Young in goal. Nothing against Kessel but i'd rather only see him play in the league & county cups than the F.A.Cup.

I would rather see Tait playing for the U21's at present and hopefully play the full 90 minutes for a few games to get himself fully fit rather than just sitting on the bench each week for the 1st team.

Although Chipstead may not have won a game yet this is the F.A.Cup and theres always a banana skin match somewhere and i really hope it's not us. You can't under estimate any opponents no matter what level they play at & whether they've won any games or lost them all.

Respect them and play to win the game.

Yes my little posse had the same conversation and to be honest my first reaction was to make changes and give the squad a runout then I partially changed my mind and maybe play the strongest possible side as per Grassbanks post. We can always make changes at half time, anyway , whatever team goes out there next week it will be like a home game for the lads!

Lets keep the unbeaten run going!

I assume this is Chipstead in Surrey.

Does anyone have any directions to the ground?

May have space available in the car if anyone needs a lift.

For you Custard:

Leave the M25 at junction 7 and take M23 northbound signposted Croydon. After 2 miles the M23 ends and becomes the A23. After about 1 mile at the first set at traffic lights adjacent to a BP garage turn left into Star Lane. Follow Star Lane into Elmore Road, keeping the church and the green on your left until reaching the crossroads with High Road. Turn left (signposted Lower Kingswood & Reigate) and parking for away supporters is 200 yards on your left. To walk to the ground leave via the car park entrance turn left and the clubhouse and turnstiles are a further 200 yards along the main road.

I've got all the info I could find on my main site:  http://www.thedarts.eu
on the right hand side of the page under "Next Matches". Hope that helps.

Glad to hear that we will give respect to Chipstead, after all they will have nothing to lose, our biggest probllem will be Complacency, but if we are professional  and use our experience then hopefully we will get through.

definetely no problem with starting Kessel as we know how good he is for us and also another good penalty saver !!! Noble will run his socks off so against opposition like this he'll have field day ..... Jay may we know what he can do but i would at least start rob or burns .... i wouldnt risk two strikers that have not started for us but have no problem with them coming on at half time so they get reasonable amount of time so that we know we dont have to worry about who we start ......... i also agree with starting beales as he does look promising and also seun so .... yes most of players named shoud and i imagine WILL get a game at some point especially if we're doing well

Although chipstead finished second from bottom last year in the league they actually was one game away from playing coventry city last year in the FA cup never under estimate your opponents at any level.I think this is correct im sure someone will correct me if im not xchurchill
