Just had this reply back from Chipstead after I sent them an email praising their hospitality

Hello John
We really enjoyed the day apart from the result, what a great lot of supporters you have . A credit to football. We would love to have you back for a pre season friendly. Good luck for the next round we will be cheering you on and if you are in the area and Chips are not playing I willl be along to watch you.
all the best
Terry (BBQ)

Nice touch !!

Yes Terry was a top bloke. I had a chat with him after the game thanking him for a great day and the great hospitality. I said it would be great to come back next preseason for a friendly. Hopefully the clubs can sort something out. xnod xnod xnod

Gutted that I had to miss what seems like a fantastic afternoon. 6 goals this week - I missed 4 last week - Hoefully Sony's managed to capture them all so at least I can enjoy these - UNLIKE last week xwhis xwhis xwhis
It sounds like the hospitality was on a par with Witham a couple of seasons ago. Full marks for the Chips for doing something that Aveley didn't do the season before last - PREPARE!!!!!

I'll take an outrageous 7-1 punt today.

Close, but I would ask for your moolah back from Derren Brown as you didn't get it 100% correct :)

Yeah, wasn't far off squire. Goalscorers were WAY off though!!

Not sure we were the top scorers someone in the Northern section hit 9 according to NLP!

Good win by all accounts certainly must have been better viewing than Englands dismal batting display at Lord's!!

Good to see James carrying on where he left off. He's been playing well this season. Shame about his snooker.
