recent form by CARSHALTON  [ and SUTTON ] does not suggest these are massively big games , their recent form over previous 4 league games is

CAR     W0  D2  L2  and SUT  W1  D0  L3

i am NOT suggesting that these or any other games are easy but nothing to keep us awake at nights ??????????

do agree however about maximium fans support

Say what you like, but at this stage of the season, form can often be deceptive, and unless someone has heard that Carshalton have dismantled their team, I'd expect a tough game there. Still, I doubt that they are too optimistic either, so lets go along and play some football.

Oh, and Sutton drew 2  -  2 away at Margate (replay Tuesday 15th)

I think that if you are looking at the league table or studying form at this stage of the season then you are going to get major egg on face, ignore the next 2 opponents at your peril. Go with your gut instinct and identify who you thought would have been the toughest opponents pre season and i bet Carshalton and Sutton would have been 2 of those teams. I think that yes we have improved a level from this stage last season but we must guard against complacency and go out there with that 'over my dead body' attitude. You can put your mortgage on both Carshalton and Sutton wanting to put on cup final attitudes against us, lets get the job done!

The moment opponents are under estimated that's when the slip ups start and over confidence and a blase attitude off the pitch can leak onto the pitch, the team needs our vocal support more than ever, the best DFC squad for nearly 20 years still needs full backing, lets enjoy these moments with the belief that all areas of the club can and must still improve .

Fully expect numbers to grow now the holidays are over and the weather gets worse, forza Dartford!

This is certainly the club that had fag ash Lil in the tea bar selling ransid burgers and had more chips on the floor than in the fryer because they was either uncooked or rock hard. Hopefully we can grab the 3pts and get out of there quick.

Carshalton was a very strong team last year and they were one of the favourites for this season.

4 points from 6 would be very nice.

However, I'm confident we'll come away with something from both games, and I don't mean food poisoning!
