SELKENT u-13 'B' East League
Result, Sunday, 13/09/09:

DFC  5    -   Dartford Town.F.C  1  (ht: 2-0)

A flying and promising start in the league for the young Darts at their L.T.Academy 'Home', with a debut goal for Killian and Nick's one before half-time. These were followed by a Billy Double, conceding one, with twin Harry.P smashing goal to open his account for the Darts towards the end.

Result from Sunday, 20/09/09:
DFC  4  -  All Stars  4 (ht: 1-2)

After going two nil down, Killian replied before half time. Nick,Tyler  and a last second own goal under Darts' pressure, helped our young ones gain a well - deserved point.

Result, Sunday, 27/09/09

DFC   2  -  Footscray Lions   1 (ht: 1-1)

Nick opened the scoring for the young Darts, following a nice move, with a goal conceded soon after. Nick's second provided the lads with a win that sees them return to the Top.
Away at Palace Guards next Sunday.

Result, Sunday, 04/10/09:

Palace Guard F.C   1   -  DFC   11 (ht: 1-2)

After going behind at the start, the young Darts soon realised that they wouldn't do well, without working hard for each other. Goals from Tyler, 'Hot' Harry 5, Nick 3, Killian and George ensured these junior Darts (like their seniors) maintain their unbeaten start to the season, improving their Goal Average and staying Top of the league!
Keep it up Darts!

DFC  0    -   Phoenix Lions F.C   2 (ht:0-2)

Like their seniors yesterday, these young Darts had to lose a game sometime...
They couldn't come back from conceding 2 goals in the first half, despite a battling display and some good chances.
Chin up you Darts! On to the next game and the points.

St.More Juniors F.C   0  -  DFC   7 (ht: 0-5)

Back to wiinning ways for these Junior Darts to stay Top. Single goals from Harry, Nick, Billy, Killian, Matt, with two 2nd half ones by Connor and Tyler.
An interesting local Derby awaits them, at Dartford Town F.C next sunday.

Result - Sunday, 25/10/09

Dartford Town F.C    1    -   DFC 0 (ht: 1-0)

This depleted young DFC team just couldn't score (even hitting the woodwork) and losing the top spot, after going down to a 1st half goal to resilient opponents.
They hope to bounce back at their L.T.Academy home next sunday. K.O. 12noon.

Result - Sunday, 01/11/09:

DFC   4    -   Darenth Rangers Whites  4 (ht: 3-3)

In blustery conditions, the young Darts only managed to take a point off this lowly side and retain their top third league place. Goal scorers were Harry, Nick and a Killian double.

Result - Sunday, 22/11/09:

Junior Reds Valiants  2 - DFC  2 (ht: 0 - 2)

These Junior Darts played away in Sidcup (Changed from Mottingham), on a heavy pitch and in stormy conditions.
Starting downhill and with the wind, Liam calmly opened the score, followed by Connor for this Darts Youth side.
They still battled well up wind and hill, conceding two with both keepers saving well, including Kane being made M.O.M.
On to a Cup game next Sunday. COYD.

SELKENT u - 13 League Cup
Result - Sunday, 29/11/09

Darenth Whites F.C.   2    -   DFC   14. (HT: 1 - 8)

After sharing 8 League goals recently, these two sides started evenly at 1 all. However, the young Darts stepped it up to easily win this Cup 1st Round. Jake opened up, followed by No nonsense Nick's 4, Hot Harry's 3, Liam's 2nd in a week, Matt's Double, Tyler, Billy and Killian's Penalty.
On to the League at the L.T.A Home v St.More's next Sunday AM. COYD!

Footscray Lions  3   -   DFC  4 (Ht: 2-2)

Coming back three times from behind, this squad of resilient young Darts won two hard - earned points on a heavy pitch.
Tyler scored a double alongside Billy's one and Robbie's smashing winner.

I only report here, support and help, like all parents with a son in the squad, often with a Lino's flag (Rightly or wrongly!!!)
Credit to the enthusiastic young players first, alongside their current coaches Vince and Dave (and Alan before). Keep it up!
All being well, this squad may have breakfast, a coaching morning with Southampton's staff and watch the game v Charlton in April?
Oh Damn, I may have to miss a winning Darts' Away game? (With a good excuse though?)

Result - Sunday, 13/12/09:

Phoenix Sports  1 - DFC  3 (Ht: 0 - 2)

In the Top of the Table clash, Tyler - directly from a corner and Connor scored for the Darts to comfortably lead at half time. Harry made it three nil, with Phoenix getting their consolation, at the end. The squad again showed some quality in depth, now sitting at the Top of the League for an enjoyable Xmas and New Year festivities. Greetings everyone. Back in action with training, on 2nd January 2010! Keep it up young Darts!
