SELKENT u - 13 'Shield' Result - Sunday, 21/02/10:

Phoenix Lions F.C  2   DFC  0 (HT: 2-0)

After yet another weather - enforced break last week - end, the young Darts' two lapses cost them this game. However, it was encouraging to see the whole squad perform well overall and create good chances. Onwards and upwards you Darts!

SELKENT Cup, U-13 - Sunday, 07/03/10

DFC -  Meridian 5 (ht: 0-1)

Up against the biggest / tallest u-13's of the lot ... and highflying in the top division 'A', the young Darts measured up well. However, their stiff resistance was weakened in the second half, using this game as a good learning experience.

SELKENT u-13 'B' East League Result - Sunday, 14/03/10:

Darenth Whites F.C  2  -  DFC  6 (ht: 0-4)

Back in League action, the young Darts returned to winning ways, even trying the wider squad in different roles in the 2nd half. 1st half goals came from Killian's brace, Harry, Lee, followed by Billy and Connor in the 2nd half. With one game left, this result may have consolidated their top 3 or 4 finish? Up you Darts!

SELKENT u-13 'B' East League - Sunday, 21/03/10

DFC 5   v  St. More Juniors F.C  4 (ht: 4-3)

An entertaining game to see off this season's league. Goals came from Matt, Killian, Brendan and Lee. They were followed by Harry in the 2nd half to keep the young Darts ahead and win. A 3rd or 4th place finish now depends on other results to-day and in the next couple of weeks or so. Meanwhile, it's on to enjoying 'Shield' matches, with a chance for the wider squad to show their worth.

u-13 SHIELD match result - Sunday, 28/03/10

DFC  2 - Junior Reds Valliants  1 (ht: 0-0)

Goals from Lewis and Matt earned the young Darts a well - fought win, on a much better pitch than the one played against the same opposition a few weeks ago.
