I just got this via Henno:

"Could you let people know that having spoken to Tony today the only player that will feature from the first team squad tomorrow night is Kess. Whilst I appreciate everyone’s support, I thought it would be fair to make people aware in case supporters were going to travel down to Lordswood expecting to see more regular faces, but it has been decided to give them a well deserved night off. Daffy is not quite ready to play a game yet so will more than likely feature in our home game to Whitstable next Wednesday."

Spot on Ron, but I have to blame my source: http://www.kentleague.com/competitions/fixtures/fixtures3.html for not being up to date with things!

along with gilesey , kentish man , john ovard we formed " hennos barmy army " tonight but 2nd half it was just gilesey and me !!!!!!!!1

poor pitch made good football [ almost ] impossible but henno's youngsters [ only kess from 1st team played] battled it out against a lordswood side that gave 100% but contained  few football purists  and deservedly won and the last minute goal by lordswood made the game look closer than it really was

2 or 3 of the darts lads have that extra bit of class and i just hope that they can develop into the 1st team squad although it will get tougher if/when we go into the BSS

not a game for the purists and certainly not henno' s ethos but a win , reckon we will see a different game when the lads [ probably including some 1st team squad players ] at PP on weds 7th october
