Not sure I agree, Dukey, about the 2 (non-)red cards. From where I was sitting, there looked to be two other Darts defenders not TOO far away, so maybe the ref could not be sure that the attacker had AT THAT POINT got a goal-scoring opportunity. But I have to admit, it was a close call. And re Youngie - surely it's unrealistic to assume that EVERY case of handling outside the area MUST be a red card offence; in this case the player and ball were way out on the side of the area, with no CC player anywhere near him, and no threat to the goal - a whole lot different to a goalie rushing out of his area to try to get the ball off an onrushing attacker. In Youngie's case, I think the ref probably got it right with a yellow.

BTW, I see from Stephen McCartney's match report for Kentish Football that the referee was from Chipstead - does that explain some of his apparently biased decisions?!?!?!?!!
????? Isnt Chipstead north east of Reigate! please explain?

We beat Chipstead 6-1 in the FA Cup 1st QR.

By the way, on the way out of the Tonbridge match tonight I saw a bloke wearing a Chipstead FC tracksuit top....?????
