Dover Athletic vs Dartford Saturday 21st November 2009 FA Trophy
« on: November 15, 2009, 07:12:57 AM »

Well It's finally time for the match thread. We will now be without Flans after the cancellation of the Borehamwood game, but it will have given the rest of the players time to recover after tuesdays 'marathon' and the injured to recover. Given the 'run' that Dover have been on it could be the best time to play them.

mouthwatering clash this one!

Hope we have learned some lessons from the Chelmsford clash in the cup. If we havent then we will be in trouble!

Need to keep it tight, give nothing away and tackle anything that moves (They will that is for sure!).

Spoke to Clive Walker at Chatham yesterday, he seems to think it's the best time to play them as well.

What? While they're currently experiencing their worst run of form under The Hess ........ NO SH1T SHERLOCK :-D

Really looking forward to this match.  Would be far happier if I knew there was not going to be any segregation of fans. Does anyone have any info.

Absolutely not I am a Darts fan, but would like to use the Dover Bar prior to kick off. Sorry for any misunderstanding.

Hi Eagle 88,Kebabus,The Duke, Jeremy and everybody else at Dartford

Looking forward to Saturday and you are right saying this is the best time to be playing us

We have lost five out of the last six matches which means we are very consistent at the moment but in the wrong way unfortunately

I have no doubt Hess will sort it out in time but as I have said before this league is very tough

I am sure it will be a great match and hopefully you will bring your usual big support to make it probably the best atmosphere at Crabble this season as we have so few derbies in Blue Square South

I know Welling is supposed to be a derby but one they were pretty poor and secondly they brought very few fans

Hopefully the arrogant bunch who run our club off the field will not segregate the match but you never know with them

If they do, see you in the Three Cups ( cheap booze and food until 2.30pm ) or The Cricketers, if not see you in the Centre Spot ( Fosters is £2 a pint until 1.30 pm )

Hi David, Nice to hear from you. I do hope they don't segregate this game there is no reason to at our level surely. When will we find out if it is segregated? - Anybody got the answer?

It will be a " ding dong " of a match and hope that the usual 200+ dart away fans swells to 350+ as this is a game NOT to miss !!!!!!

I hope our friends at dover will tell us early whether its segregated as I would like to go into the centre spot [ heard a lot about it] but obviously do NOT want to get into the ground only to find out we cannot get a drink

I'm sure TB will NOT be undestimating dover ,  even though they appear NOT to be at their best currently but afterall its a ONE OFF CUP GAME so anything can happen  ???????

be great IF we could turn them over , just hope our injured players are back cause we know we will be without flan and elliot [ I'm assuming daffy is available

WHY ,  surely 350+ dart fans under 1 roof , just imagine the noise and atmosphere , I think TB and the lads would appreciate your support NOT to go , thats just playing into dovers hands ?????????

ALSO

just been on their message board ,  they aint happy ,  reckon 5 of their players are to....g it off , hope thats right !!!!!!!!!!!!

ALSO

according to the NLP today hess is in line for the kettering job , would be a great move for him as kettering are going places [ certainly quicker than dover ] !!!!!!!!!!!!
