As well as we have been playing this season, I don't think we'd be able to beat both Havant ANd Waterlooville....  xwhis

A name that is spoken in hushed voice as a Darts fan, Graham Garvey (I think surname is correct) a true Darts fan but one who unfortunately sometimes allows the drink to let his mouth do too much talking to certain persons and he is currently barred from P.P.

Graham did much to raise money in the nomad days and was the instigator of the idea of the Golden Goals for the Darts printing off tickets and putting them in pay envelopes then selling them with his sons.

Always one to urge on and conduct the choir in the P.P. and away games, but only now makes a rare appearance for big derby games and it is still good  to see him and his vocal support.

well said trevor hope he can make a few more app..as im sure he is a great darts fan and he obvously misses coming to more games

Chatted to him a few times and has always appeared to be a passionate supporter and as others have said has done much for the Darts in the past.... don't know exactly what caused the ban but it would be nice to think there was a way that both sides could sort out their differences amicably..he certainly conducted the crowd with great gusto on Saturday.

being a younger generation of a darts supporter he was always MR DARTFORD in my eyes

a great ring leader for the vocal support

always brought many newcomers along for jolly days

some intruiging ? stewarding eventually leading to his ban

if only i was a millionaire and could buy the club and reinstate him into our super support!

Blimey,if that was who you looked up to at Dartford FC i suggest you should get out a bit more. The ban was nothing to do with the stewards but a catalogue of misdameanours for which if you need to find out more i suggest you ask the club.Unfortunately Graham was perfectly amicable when sober but when drunk was to be honest aggresive ,intimidating and frankly a little scary. This is the last word i say on this because i do not need the hassle but if you want a Mr Dartford there are a lot better candidates.

There is, as John said, a lot more to it than over zealous stewarding. It's something that very few know the full story, but many know there is a lot more to it, than what you suggest. Graham has said he is working on a way back, and hopefully it is true, but this isn't the place to discuss it, and certainly not the thread.

Constructive criticism?? Don't get it. If it's still criticism, how is it constructive?

Good luck tonight against Tooting

From what I saw on Saturday you are going to walk away with the Title this season

You gave us one hell of a game and were unlucky not to get at least a draw - you had a decent side last season but you looked a different class this time

It was the most entertaining match I have seen this season and it was tremendous to hear the support you gave your team especially at the end when you had lost - this season the only decent sized away support at Crabble has been Newport and Woking and you brought as many as them combined

I don't think there was a bad tackle in the game and it was played in the right spirit with lots of good humoured banter from both sets of supporters

Sorry I didn't meet more of you especially the Duke, Kebabus, Eagle 88 etc. but met a Terry and a Steve and of course Steve Irvine ( hope I spelt that right )

Apologies that we cocked up big time with the Centre Spot closing at 4.30 pm - how clever was that ? !

Anyway I was going to say good luck for the rest of the season but playing like that you won't need it

Next season could be very interesting if you, us, Ebbsfleet, Bromley and Welling ( if they manage to stay up ) are all in Blue Square South

And good luck to you Dave in the next round. A bit of a toughie for you, get the draw down there and take them back to the Crabble.

Having watched the videos of both games I would tend to agree with you David.  It makes saturday's quoted 1080 attendance (second lowest of your season wasn't it?) pretty inexplicable.

Hope you are keeping well.
