The Duke & Rikyb spot on here. Burchell as a midfield general? He'd have difficulty organising a conga! Out & out striker no question, saying that, it seems TB must have asked him to do a job as sub on the left, as we looked a little threatned by their pacy right.
Now, Danny Harris. An astute and excellent buy for the club. I've heard the detractors and frankly, they have little knowledge of the game. He has bought something extra this season. If I had to make a small criticism, it would be that he seems to get too easily frustrated upon occasion, which shows up to the crowd by his body language. Rather that, than not give a friar! Rhyno upon occaision does the same and gets unnecessary bookings. Burchell is known for despising injustice and last year apparently, it wasn'nt just his attitude, but the coat he swallowed! All three similar players...flawed genius if you like, but all superb footballers.

adam burchell would be wasted as a midfielder as the lad is a born predator with a terrific turn of pace and will frighten RLP defences to death once he gets totally match fit and a run in the team

Agree total waste; especially as we have Danny Crouch for that midfield role

actually i dont get it, i think some posters have a lot of time to waste and end up saying things they dont really mean.i have not heared any frustration or rumblings of discontent at danny harris.he is clearly a good player and scores goals, yes he had a mare on tuesday, it happens especially to strikers but so what,i have heared nothing on the terraces.
anyway in a crowd of 1000+ there are bound to be a few fans not happy about something but its just not worth getting upset about it.let them say what they want , i can guarantee nearly 99% of fans have gone home happy after games this season.

actually i walked past whitey on the way to a nervous leak at 2-2 as he was supporting the team standing in the walkway ( remarkably he wasnt moved on by the stewards) and i nearly stopped to intruduce myself but i thought NO dont make yourself look like a lovesick pratt

so he missed out on the opportunity to meet me, i suppose there will be other times

I'm a bit worried about the rumblings about Danny Harris yesterday. He's only been with us for a month, fitted in straight away, scored lots of goals, been man of the match or nearly man of the match most times. OK so last night he looked a bit jaded but overall the guy has been such a positive for us.

I agree with you, I just think Tuesdays was far from his best (which he has shown is brilliant since he joined) and as I said he look a bit uncomfortable at times!

I was hoping we could have a "reunion" for Whitey and Rambo. Rambo, get in touch mate and we can be like Cilla on Surprise, Surprise or something.

I wouldn't  bother Rambo as Tommy told me Whitey's barbequeues are crap!

Constructive criticism?? Don't get it. If it's still criticism, how is it constructive?

Gawd, after months of totally bland posts on here I did not think that mentioning that some people were moaning in the seated area on Tuesday night would be such controversial stuff. Rock N Roll !

I'll try to be more careful in future.

Thanks for your interest Dukey. I wouldn't want to be a liability.
