Think it will be vastly different team we face -  11 new players signed recently I understand

Have they found yet another new Sugar Daddy then?

I am approaching Saturdays game slightly differently.

I will arrive at PP at around 2.00 and head straight for the bar to part with my hard earned money. At half time, I will make my way into the ground so I am ready for the second half and hopefully another 3 points.

Joking aside, I think it will be a tough game on Saturday and we cannot afford to give Hornchurch any early christmas presents like we gave Bognor and Tooting.

Oh and I wonder if Kev The Nutter will be making the trip to PP on Saturday.

Ha ha. my old friend. Saw him at Aveley last month, seems he's a bit of an Essex-Non-league-stop-out!!! Pretty sure last time we "spoke" he said he'd never visit PP as it's rubbish, or words to that effect.

On another note i am really looking forward to this one. Haven't been able to make a game for a while due to babies, birthdays and banking! I have the weekend "off" so i'm praying the match goes ahead and it doesn't rain like last weekend!!!

Very attack-minded midfield you have chosen there; not too sure about that.

Main concern for me Beales or Coyle to play alongside the skipper. After a great start at centre half Beales has looked a little off colour lately...me thinks Coyle would be unlucky not to get the nod at centre half on Saturday with DD back in doing the spoiling in front of the back 4!

It's more or less as you were on Tuesday except for Coylie (and Jay May, but that's like for like)........

Or is this your point, that we could ship early goals again  :? :?

Either way, I like that side; it should get goals - hopefully early ones - and preferably NOT equalisers.

I'd like to see our centre halves commanding the air like we were earlier on in the season now Flanners has returned  xbow

Very attack-minded midfield you have chosen there; not too sure about that.  that was my point to maybe get us a lead early, and if you  bring danny d in from the start  that  puts noble on the left, which is a waste because he is our best  central miidfinlder at the moment up the darts

midfield too  [ naturally ] attack minded for my liking , i go for tuesday starting line up with coyle replacing beales at centre back , dafter in for coyle in midfield and haworth in for may up front

no doubt about selecting danny harris as he will have had 3 days good rest

good bench with may , beales ,  burchell , and  crouch  IF tait and white not fit and kessel

I like john beales but coyle/flanners have played very well at centre back and  have leaked few goals and currently that is our suspect area

UP THE DARTS

More or less agree with that line -up. In my opinion, a completely offensive midfield is not a good idea and balance is a necessity.

Things are looking better as the discussion is about who plays rather than whose fit to play.

25 & half hours to go!!! Just cannot wait for the Hornchurch gig. This being my 1st season as a Dart, sincerely has equalled any other involvement I've had in the game, which has been considerable. Great fans, staff, forum, everything! ( ok, apart from plastic glasses....I want a bottle in front of me, not a frontal lobotomy, as it dribbles down my chin).
Going to be a task to take on Hornchurch, a team who could start to turn their fortunes around. Our squad though! Talk about strength in depth. Oh, ok I will then.
Its very noticeable the gap left by Jamie day & Elliot Bradbrook. However, TB has covered the left side glitch cleverly and has clearly asked different players to to a temporary job there. Who can complain? We're still unbeaten! The Team ethic in that dressing room must be second to none. Jamie was/still is a good player, but the guys who've filled that spot have worked their knackers off. I do feel that Burnsy could play anywhere & may be even more lethal just behind the awesome strike force. But, although young, Crouchy is a force to be reckoned with and seems suited to the middle rather than wide.
I'm going for a 3-0 straight victory. And why not.
