Shame about another match delay. The players will probably want to get back to winning ways ASAP and now they have to wait another week. Depending on when this is rescheduled to, there's a danger of severe fixture pileup due to all these delays we've had recently - Boreham Wood, Aveley and now this.  :|

Only a conspiracy theory but it would be interesting with seeing how many players Wealdstone had injured/suspended if the groundsman even looked at the pitch this week or  hosed it yesterday just to make sure.Nobody at Wealdstone seems particularly unhappy that it was postponed.

Yeah yeah Yeah...grassry knoll, man onthe moon etc..etc...
Not having just a pop at you john, but this is hardly staggering news! We play the season during a temperate climate( I'll wager new zealand's 'a' league have suffered as much) and although every season it's a pain in the target, we'll have a nice extended spring to look forward to. The reserve game today was a great advert for football albeit on an artificial surface. I  doubt it very much if there is anything sinister underfoot mate.

The picture of the pitch I saw yesterday did look surprisingly okay though...

Considering our recent performances in defence, they may regret not playing us this weekend.  It is also probable that our injury list will be much shorter when the game is finally re-arranged and they may also find the gap between the two teams even bigger than it is now.  They also have a number of games to catch up and may be facing that old issue of two games a week on their run-in to our re-arranged fixture.

Come on you DARTS!
