I am sure it will be business as usual on our travels next saturday. (Hopefully Elliott will be back as well). Yesterday was a fair result. Teams love playing at Princes Park and always seem to raise their game. Let's not forget Carshalton are a far better side than their current league position suggests. xfinger

Can't believe Ryan Johnson and Whitey are getting so much stick on this forum - Ryan played a good game and looks like he is starting to settle into that roll and Whitey played well in the last quarter of the game winning some balls and keeping them up the other end of the pitch.

The biggest problem yesterday which no one seems to be able to see is our defence without Flannergan is a worry we looked like we could conceed from every cross just like we did against Bogna without Flannergan.

Credit to Young he had a great game and kept us in it.

Thought Carlos looks great hope he starts against Welling

No point in playing Burchell unless he gets the ball to feet.

Don't understand why Harris is frightened of using his head. It would have been a certain goal.

Once again the our midfield were clueless. Changes needed next season.

A bottle of milk turns quicker than Haworth.

Carshalton are a poor side. If we play like that against any of the top 10 we will be comfortably beaten.

Have to agree Baron that Rob is very slow to turn (even for this standard of football).
And does not win much in the air for a big forward?

Still onwards and upwards  :-D :-D :-D

Disagree about Rob yes he is slighty off pace but so are all the rest of the team.

Burchell was kept quite by there 4 & 5 all game.

Be glad when we are back to full starting line up.

The midfield was poor and I didn't think White had a paticularly good game, as for Rob  it was a case of little and large with most balls in the air going to Adam and without Lee Burns to anticipate and read Rob's flicks when he went up to head the ball it was not going to be one of his better games.

A question I couldn't answer is why did we place the smallest player (Adam) to stand along side or in front of the keeper for all set pieces, a ttoal waste of Adams time when he shopuld have been sniffing for the knock down or loose ball.

Still we have come to expect poorer performances at home so a point was fair and the other results went our way, but I await the return of Burnsy as we need you up front.

Thought that Coyle, Beales and Johnson were our best. Funny how people look at the games differently. Thought that Ryan had a splendid game in midfield, industrious but quietly. Danny had a so so game, I wouldn't say he was poor. Was tempted to put Beales as MOTM but Ryan gets it for me. As for the other Ryan????
If we ever get promotion, in my opinion, Hayes wouldn't make the grade. We'd have to get a wide man.

Much as I love the postie, who has won a lot up front this year in the air. Credit where credit's due, thought their No 4 Dave Woozley had an excellent game for them as did their No6. Woozley won a lot at the back. It's not that Rob had a bad game, Woozley had a better one.

Can anyone tell me what is the point of putting a sub on with just a couple of minutes to go its not even a leg stretching time.

well for me the game was wot i exspected after such a long break, the team wasnt at its best, but then wot team would be,  some of the comments on here are just plain stupid, rob played his normal game, the only difference he was up against huge deffenders, the robbins are not a bad side and play a good passing game, its going to take a couple of games to get up to pace again, andy had a good game in goal, adam gross played very well, havemt seen a better left back in the rlp, nearly done one of his specials in the second half, just over the bar,  like all good teams even when we are not playing well we can get at least a point, and a fair result to be honest. We are a difficult team to beat and that is why we are going to be champions its as simple as that. This great squad is showing its worth at the moment, no flan, burns, bradders, and little lee who i think is our best central midfielder and can still put a good team out imo, wot a great season we are having people up the darts

I think that our main undoing yesterday was that the Robins got loads of people behind the ball when defending (I counted 10 for one Darts 2nd-half free kick - you can call that parking the bus, if you like, but if it was it was only a single-decker, despite the defenders' height) and yet quickly got lots of people forward when attacking. When Jolly scored his goal, there were at least 6 Robins in the box. I think we have to be thankful that Jolly was woefully wasteful for the rest of the match. If they rely on him so heavily and his form has dropped off, maybe that explains why their recent form record (after playing us) is P7 W0 D3 L4 GF 3. But fair does to them - they looked sharper and hungrier than us and created more chances than us, so I was pleased with the point in the end. Not surprised, then, that there are so many differing views on MOTM. I still can't make my mind up.

i agree with woody and several others , typical a game when virtually ALL of the players were below par [ probably NOT suprising after 18 days off ] and all of the sudden the personal stuff starts with comments on certain players who 2 months ago were worls beater and are now NOT good enough !!!!!!!!!

rambos last post was well out of order [ even though he is entitled to his opinion ] as he would vote for his fave player even if he only had one leg [ behave ??] and slagging of  a proven BSS player [ burgess] is only a deflection

so suggest we keep the posts  about players general and NOT personal

My MOTM would go to Carlos. Showed more imagination in 15 mins that the rest of the team put together. Give this man a start on Tuesday please.

Not sure what Duke's on. No wrong doing in fans posting their opinions on individual players.

I think a few of you have hit it on the head by pointing out the fact that after what seems to be a long lay off with very few games we are not yet up to pace.
When you think about it, it's like starting the season all over again without the benefit of pre-season friendlies to sharpen us up. xfinger
