I have been looking forward to seeing Carlos playing from the start going by his cameo appearences so far. Unfortunately on last nights showing it was a throw back to a certain Phil Williams from last season. I am sure he will be better than that, certainly against lesser opposition. Thought with all the changes last night and the light weight forward line the lads knocked the ball around well at times without creating too much though

D.J. you did the best thing staying away it was bl**dy cold and not too much action from us although 1-3 flattered them.

Carlos needs to cut out the line dancing and concentrate on getting past the full back and putting in the telling crosses (which I assume he can do) as several times the opportunity arose with time on his hands and he chose to exhibit his skills to (or try to take the p*ss out of) the full back.

Burchell (took his chance well)and Crouch tried hard but were knocked off of the ball too easily and Noble was way off of the target with his shooting and gave the ball away too often.

Dafter has a good game and Bradbrook would have got my M.O.M. with a good performance had he completed the 90 minutes.

An experienced back four with Kessell in goal still saw us let in three goals but I gave my M.O.M. to Beales on the night.

Disappointed that we lost and are out of the cup but a reasonable attendance despite the bitter cold and an enjoyable night on the terrace at least with the humour of The Duke The 5th Gilesy and Mr Gaz to keep our spirits up.

Some pics from the match.  Not an easy one to get got shots from.  Can anyone tell me, was No. 11 Danny Crouch, according to the programme?  Doesn't look like the same person as on the website. I'm guessing it was Joao Carlos. I'll update my blog with the right name if someone can enlighten me.
