Let he who is without sin......
Will it really upset the England camp? Papers and TV drive you potty, they'll probably get in the changing rooms and have a good laugh and elbow him. Will we lose the first game against the States and blame Terry for dipping his wick.

Agree totally ...we've had England Managers , Prime Ministers, Politicians, Presidents all caught with their pants down....... and who knows who else that haven't been found out.

What's the alternatives to Terry as Captain ?  He'll do for me !!

Sack the b******d - he's not fit to lead a pack of scout cubs! Especially when he gets his mate's bird up the duff AND then makes her have an abortion! Not even Prescott, Sven or Clinton went THAT far.  He was always my favourite for captain, but not any more, I'm afraid. Sort him out BEFORE the Egypt friendly.

What's John Terry's private life got to do with being the England captain?. It's what he does on the pitch for England that matters, not what he does behind closed doors with a consenting adult. I'm not saying it's right to have an affair behind your other half's back but if you sacked everyone who's had an extra marital discretion you would have a hell of lot of people out of work. Do you suggest that Tiger Woods is banned from golf courses, Joe Calzaghe is not allowed on a dance floor again (maybe not a bad thing?) or Brad Pitt is not allowed back on a film set because of their discretions?. If he had been caught downloading child porn, taking drugs or behaved like Joey Barton i could understand it. In the past we've had Bobby Moore's 'alleged' jewelery incident during Mexico 70 and Tony Adams stay at her majesty's pleasure because of he couldn't steer his car after a few beers and they didn't do too badly in their careers. At the end of the day John Terry has only hurt his family and has got some explaining to do. He is still the best captain England has had for years. Who would you rather have as captain?, Rio (who conveniently forgot that he had to take drug tests), Rooney (who had sex with hooker old enough to be his gran), Stevie G (beats people up on film and gets away with it), Defoe (lots of speeding offences), Ashley C (shagging hairdressers and speeding again), the list goes on. If this country's press spent more time reporting on 'real' news instead of trying to sell stories for the brain dead (big brother, i'm a celebrity fans, etc) we might have a better society.

I have absolutely no time for the vast majoritry of the prima donnas BUT I totaly agree its WRONG to single john terry out and him getting picked for club or country should ONLY be on football merit

You don't know how far they went ...all you've read is what's been reported.

I'm intrigued ...who's your choice for England Captain then? ...as BlueDart has pointed out the alternatives are interesting !!!!

Cheers Duke ...but my question was directed to the anti-Terry brigade ...was listening to radio 5 live in the car this afternoon and a caller on there made a very valid point ...our next heir to the throne committed adultery but we all seem to accept that it's Ok for him to be the next our next King, but a number of people seem to want to hang Terry for what's he's done .??

it must be very unsettling for the chelsea squad.
first if the players walk into the dining room after lamps ,they worry if there is any food left
and secondly
if the players go to the ground with their wives or girlfriends and leave them alone ,they worry that jt will be in a shagging mood.

its a plot lamps get all the players in the dining room sits by the door so nobody can get past him ,literally, ans jt has the run of all the birds in the place.
