Camcorder Advice
« on: February 26, 2010, 07:36:56 PM »

Looking to get a camcorder soon - got a few ideas in mind for special club events (Keeper Wars, etc) maybe player interviews in the future. Looking to spend no more than about £200 (can be flexible on this though). Any advice gratefully received.

Sonytino, your days are numbered LOL!

This looks ok: http://www.firebox.com/product/2083/  and the page gives you a few sample videos to see what the quality is like.

Bought a Sanyo Xacti (not the waterproof one) when my existing camcorder decided to break down on the first day of my US holiday last year ...been reallly pleased with it considering the low cost  ...it's also got a really good still camera as well. and is small enough to slip into your pocket .....mine is the HD one below

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sanyo-VPC-CG10EBK-Definition-Camcorder-Camera/dp/B001SAMTLY/ref=sr_1_1/280-0484912-7741139?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1267268796&sr=1-1

Just one thing .....I had to buy some video editing software (went for the AVS bundle) as it doesn't come with any and I wanted to transfer to DVD

With the weather we've had this year the waterproof one might be a more sensible purchase though !!!!

I personally would avoid the Flip range ...not been impressed with the results I've seen on friends ones. xno xno
