If the FA were daft enough to make a chav like John Terry, with an off field record as long as your arm, the England captain, they surely had it coming to them.
He is a notoriously heavy drinker. He was known to urinate in a club; not Chelsea’s. He and other Chelsea players had disgraced themselves when, drunk in a Heathrow airport bar on the dreadful day of 9/11, they had stripped naked and jeered at distressed American passengers. Not to mention recent tales of how, allegedly, he was trying to set up clandestine £10,000 a pop tours of the Chelsea training centre at Cobham. Though you wonder who’d be daft enough to pay that.
Meanwhile, in recent weeks his own mother has been caught shop lifting while his father has been found dealing in cocaine. Hardly John’s own fault in either case but there’s an old saying about apples falling from trees.

England first game at the world cup is against the USA, will they need a team talk to gee them up for the match? Not likely, they will be well fired up once reminded of what the chav and his mates did.

The FA don’t have the guts to strip the captaincy from Terry, instead they wait till Capello come back and wait until after  Sunday to see if more sleaze comes out on the weasel.

I would not only strip him of the captaincy but also drop him from the world cup squad.

qualities like trustworthiness, honour, loyalty, Leadership and comradeship should be part of what an England captain should stand for, sadly Terry possesses none of the above.

Ashley Cole is England’s first choice left back and rightly so, but what if he gets injured before the world cup? Wayne Bridge has already stated he wont play alongside Terry, it just shows his actions have brought the England captaincy into disrepute.

Imagine, if Terry had attempted to have an affair with Mrs Wayne Rooney or Mrs Steven Gerrard? Rather than reserve full-back Wayne Bridge, would the impact be different?.

It would be full-scale civil war, with Capello having to weigh the potential contribution of a combative central defender with two world-class attackers. The point is hypothetical but the principle remains rock solid. Principle generally does, drop the scumbag we can do just as well without the over rated chav.

Where's Bobby Moore when you need him eh?

As for dropping Terry....probably not. Stripping him of the armband.....Definitely ! There comes a responsibility when a captain and he has overstepped the mark on more than 1 occassion( in fact more than 3-4 occassions!).

But who would get the captaincy? There is not one of the "backbone" of the England team that hasnt done wrong over the past 4 years or so...

Ferdinand - Sex tape, 3somes, drink driving
Rooney - Granny whore shagging
Gerrard - replace Cockney Terry with Scouse Gerrard. A complete wrong'un also and should be banged up right now if he wasnt a footballer.
Cole- Drink driver ( or was it speeding??) ,Adulterer and apparently may be named as the 5th Chelsea player to sleep with that Vanessa woman

There is no one else that is guaranteed a starting xi place so cant give it to anyone else.....personally, I would give it to Rooney. He has matured no end over the past 2-3 years. Is guaranteed to play and his whore shagging was 7 years or so ago....

Thats a low blow KP........But I think you will find that he was cleared of any wrong doing and no charges were brought against him? But, as you have shown, mud sticks I suppose...., but the facts are out there.

Latest news just in! John Terry has been stripped of the "Daddy of the year" title, the award has been given to the runner up, Osama Bin Laden.  :-)

Plus there's no guarantee that some of those "candidates" will be 100% fit (physically!) - eg Ferdinand, Gerrard, Cole.
Plus Capello is known to want to spare Rooney the captaincy so he can concentrate on scoring goals (although of all the five, I'd say he is the "least worst" since most of his "moral offences" were committed in his callow youth).
IMO, by all means keep Terry in the team. but hand the captain's armband to Gerrard (if available) as the one of the main contenders with the power to lift and motivate players.

... or as at least one paper suggested yesterday - pick your best 11 and then pick the captain out of them on a match-by-match basis (possibly the most senior in terms of caps won), as they do in many other countries, apparently.
Capello is said to have been amazed when finding out about our appointing a "permanent" captain.

When I said dropped, I meant stripped of the arm band. I suspect Rio will step up from being Vice captain to Captain with LKampard/Rooney to take over vice Captain roles.

John Terry has done nothing wrong. All coaching manuals state: If the full back leaves a hole, it's the centre back's job to fill it

A song for chelsea!

Chelsea wherever you may be, Don't leave your wife with John Terry, His dad deals coke and his mum steals tea He cried when he missed a penalty Chelsea wherever you may be, Don't leave your wife with John Terry, He cannot shoot and he can't fucking pass But he'll take your missus up the ass!

Steveoooo  the chelsea fan asked me to put the new song up doing the rounds, along with the prank call.  xtip
