So Terry's been stripped off the armband and the next role model for the kids to look up to  is Rio who has been banned for missing a drug test (he says he forgot, so even if wasn't  guilty he's certainly stupid !!) and is currently banned for 4 games on a violent conduct charge.................what a great role model ...............sorry we've lost the plot. xshake xshake xshake

I'm not condoning what Terry's done but the papers haven't gone out of their ways to emphasise that this affair took place AFTER Wayne Bridge had dumped her (and his kid).

Also if you believe the papers Wayne Bridge (allegedly) used to let JT use his place to take girls back to, so it can hardly come as a great shock to him that his EX has also been a notch on JT's bedpost.
All this Wayne Bridge is being 'comforted ' rubbish in the papers is getting on my nerves...I don't believe he's a victim in this, yet he's being painted as one.

John Terry should now concentrate on bringing the league title to Stamford Bridge and forget about the captaincy, England have 2 hopes of winning the World Cup Bob Hope and no hope.

Its certainly one very strange decision to make Ferdinand captain after Terry gets the sack. I guess Rio will be out with his tv crew making his hilarious (i dont think so) candy camera style programme again where he sets up & merks his fellow team mates. Oh how i laughed at the last one (NOT). This bloke is even worse than John Terry is very injury prone and has probably commited worse offences in the past than Terry like making out hed forgotten his drug test on more than 1 occasion. Isnt he about to serve a 4 match ban for violent conduct as well. GREAT ADVERT HE IS.

What a crock of shit, what does it matter what/who he does/screws in his private life? How does that affect him being captain. xshrug xshrug

John Terry talking to Wayne Bridge on a night out 2 weeks ago...
Terry: 'What a year i've had Wayne, my mum got caught thieving out of Tesco's, my Dad was caught dealing coke in a pub, what's next!?'
Bridge says: 'How do you think i feel, i just found out my bird has aids'.  :-D

Majestic performance by JT today as you would expect from the best central defender in the country. xbow xbow

Fabio Capello is expected to name Gary Neville as the new England captain, apparently the decision is based on the fact that he hasn`t got a chance of sleeping with anyone`s wife. xwhis xwhis

I can see why Rio being made captain has got up peoples noses but lets face it, he was the vice captain so was always going to step up to Captain should anything happen to Terry.

Terry will still be doing the same job on the field regardless of whether he has a captains armband so whats the problem?

I always thought Gerrard was vice captain.
