A triumph for the traveling army?? According to text, TB was commenting on some 'Darts Fans' who hit the boo button at Tonbridge and Billericay-dickey.

Dartford boss Tony Burman hits back at boo boys
Page last updated at 15:39 GMT, Tuesday, 16 February 2010

Dartford manager Tony Burman expressed surprise after some supporters booed off the team at half-time on Saturday at Tonbridge, a game Darts won 4-1.

Darts are runaway leaders of the Ryman League's Premier Division, seven points clear and on course for promotion.

Burman told BBC Radio Kent: "I noticed it recently at the Billericay game and at half-time at Tonbridge.

"I am surprised, bearing in mind the season we're having. But the majority of our supporters are excellent"

He added: "Players need support and don't like being booed, especially when they've done so well.

"I accept that we were poor in the first half at Tonbridge but the players' response in the second half was exceptional and we won 4-1.

"I'm confident the players we've got here will win promotion."

I fully understand fans being dissapointed with the team,as I sometimes am.I've even been furious when I watch players turning in a dismal performance when I rate them so highly. But what is going through these so called fans minds I just cannot fathom. Its clear to see the effect it has on players and it couldn't possibly improve anything,so why?If you feel like booing then b****r of and do it in the toilets. :x

I feel I should add that we are easily the best team I've watched in this division, and  I hope the great support we've undoubtably got roars us to victory on saturday.(poxy weather permitting) xbow

I hate the idea of any dart fan booing but I would have liked to have seen the comment saying " the VAST majority of the darts fans are excellent "  as I feel sure that  the f.....g idiots who boo are in the minority !!!!!!!!!!!
