Wealdstone vs Dartford Tues 16th Feb 2010 7:45 KO
« on: February 13, 2010, 09:16:25 PM »

Well, after the 2nd half display at Tonbridge - the REAL Darts have shown up  xbow xbow xbow Let's keep it up. And lets also keep the support that was superb at Longmead up as well. This will be a 'home' strip game again I think as Wealdstone play in blue just like Tonbridge  xwhis xwhis

From the M25: Follow Take Junction 16 Off M25 onto A40. Then Come Off at The Polish War Memorial junction A4180 sign posted to Ruislip, continue on West End Road, right into Grosvenor Vale after approx 1.5 miles, the ground is at the end of the road.

Or the dear old tube! Metropolitan or Piccadilly (Uxbridge branch) to Ruislip and looks a 5-10min walk to the ground from the station!

Despite their win today looks a good time to play Wealdstone who have really gone off the boil since xmas 3 or 4 defeats in last 7 games!

Agree with The Duke a modified 4-3-3 looks a good bet for me!

                            Young
                Burgess                    Gross
                        Flan     Coyle
                           Johnson
                Noble                   Bradbrook
                      Harris       Burns
                            Rook
Noble just brings so much energy and enthusiasm that for me would get the nod above Ryno at the moment specifically for this match although would love to get the pair of them into the line up as think they are both quality players! Coyle just shading it over Beales for me at the back. The bench well will be very strong maybe a place for Taity after today but I think another couple of games in the stiffs may do him some good and make sure he is 103% fit!

Bench? Will be very strong whoever is on it with the players we have at our disposal not mentioned above

I fancy us after todays second half showing!!

Noble knows how to stick a foot in too. So he also gets the nod from me. xfinger

Let's hope we build on the second half at Tonbridge, real despair was kicking in here at half time  :embarassed: With Kingstonian not playing in midweek, we have a chance to open a lead in double figures again. Spare a thought for Boreham Wood, they're playing Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday........... xwhis.

Wealdstone's central midfielder Chris O'Leary suspended for this game. Played virtually every game for them this season  xwhis xwhis

                            Rook or Burchell ? {I'd start Rook on the Bench}

Along with many other people I will have to follow this one on-line. It's just sods law that some of the re-arranged away games are in the most awkward places to travel to after work during the week. :-(

Think I'm right in my assumption that the Wealdstone pitch is not the most welcoming to adverse weather conditions....  so fingers crossed....I've no chance of getting home from work and round the M25 in time so its the dreaded tube direct from the City  for me.....will be really pi**ed off is this one is called off late. xno xno xno

We seem to be spoilt for choice for tube stations to go to .....Ruislip  or Ruislip Manor on the Metropolitan line , or Ruislip Gardens on the Central line.   (Rusilip Manor seems the closest)

Not sure about getting home yet ..... won't know if my mate is going (he'll be driving) till tomorrow so may have to  cadge a lift back with some kind soul (or the coach).....not sure I can face the tube again !!!

Cheers for the offers of a lift home  guys....looks like I won't have to face the dreaded tube/train/taxi on the way home

Thanks again
