Well after the postponement of the Wealdstone game Tuesday nite, we should have a rested team. But with the weather forecast of more of the wet stuff ........

I managed to spend five weeks in Kent over Christmas and the New Year without seeing a single match. I'm  travelling down again on Friday afternoon, so Saturday's match is bound to be postponed. My Vice President's ticket hasn't been used since October.

The pitch did not cut up too bad last night. The 'deep end' was still a bit soggy but I can't see there being a problem unless we get a downpour (fingers crossed)

Just had a look at Ashford Town's next three matches, and they are going to be hard:

Saturday 20th - Dartford
Tuesday 23rd - Wealdstone
Saturday 27th - Suton United

Hopefully we can grab three points off them saturday!!

Ashford have scored a lot of goals but they have conceded a lot ,if they come to attack us it should be a good battle.

I cannot remember the last time we played really well at home. Possibly our thumping of Hendon and that was way back.

Kebabus is right, we are long overdue a good home performance. Lets hope its starts on Saturday, weather permitting of course.

         Friday morning dry and bright. No rain forecast until after the game, but a frost tonight. Temperature forecast to be around 5 or 6 C tomorrow, with it getting light earlier, i wouldn't have thought frost will be a problem come kick off time. I reckon game should go ahead, and i just have a feeling we're going to click tomorrow. Rook should have a better understanding with the rest of the team by now, i fancy he'll get at least one. COYD
