thanks Duke for being the only one to understand what i am saying.I'll say one more time then give up.ryno is our most skilful and my personal favourite.he whipped in some outstanding balls yesterday.I personally have never knocked him.i have never slagged off any of our players.I agree with everything you have all said about him.I have never called any of our players a carthorse.I hate the twats who i passed outside the ground.mr twat was moaning about the two goals that we conceded to everyone within earshot and mrs twat was doing likewise about the man of the match decision who she said was clearly lee noble.I loathe and detest these people.I was extremely vociferous in support of my beloved Darts throughout the match yesterday as I always am.I have never stood at the side of the pitch.A lot of rynos corners have gone astray lately.I just thought that he might benefit from being rested from these duties for a while,as you would a penalty taker who had started to miss a few.It doesnt make ryno any less of a player.perhabs elliot could take a couple.Dont put me in with the knockers or twats, you couldnt be more wrong xshrug

Ryno knows the score you could tell he was disappointed with his own game yesterday when he went off....but it will only take one bit of magic in any given game to get him back on fire as he is that good a player!

The critics forget that he played in 3 or 4 games last year when he was clearly unfit with his hamstring but he did it for the good of the team even scoring a goal after 5 minutes in one home game and then promptly going straight off through injury!

I also noticed yesterday that he seemed to have some strapping on his upper leg so perhaps he is carrying a slight knock at the moment!

Cant agree with Ajaxman the league this year is nowhere nears as strong as last year mainly I guess due to money restraints! Dover,Staines,Carshalton & Tonbridge were all miles better last year. The reason everyone is beating each other is that the teams are about the same level with only us standing out from the pack (we are far better than last term of course!)! This is not our problem and we have done the business most weeks and we can only beat what is put in front of us!

I think Ashford are one of the better teams (going forward/not so much defensively).
Who would have denied them a point for their second half performance.
But you have to win ugly to WIN Leagues.

I just wonder how much difference playing in the Blue Square South there is going on some of yesterdays results.
Eastleigh 2 Thurrock 8.
Woking 0 Welling 5 ?

Ten points clear, miles better goal difference and three games in hand.

Things could be worse !!!!!!!

Thanks to you Darts that have given us a bit of credit for the way we play. Usually we get the "why did we play so badly against a team like Ashford" type comment.
We have been very unfortunate this season with loosing our best defender Billy Jeffries to a broken leg 5 minutes into our home game with you early in the season and having another solid center back injured at the moment. Maybe we might have had enough with them to get someting out of the game.

Enjoy your championship run in and good luck in BSS (which, if you look at the table holds no demons for ryman premiership sides)

As much as I agree with the we must all rally round brigade I do think at times that a midicom of honest views is sometimes healthy.

Why I still have no doubts that we will be promoted as champions come seasons end this is not the same team that we were watching earlier in the season.

We are getting over-run in midfield, we still seem uable to get people forward quickly in support, we are squandering chances (yesterdays game should have been won well before half time). We also to a degree should accept that certain players do not perform in certain roles. I do not believe that Noble is a left sided midfielder. quite often yesterday he went walkabout leaving Gross badly exposed, leading to their No.11 giving Gross a hard time which ultimately led to a yellow card.

Noble is best at running at defences through the middle not as a winger. I  know and accept that I will get criticism for not following the party line here, but, at the moment I don't feel that Lee is showing the potential that a lot of us including myself thought he'd show when he joined us a season or so back.

Harris and Rook look very solid but the defence needs a bit more pace and we look "tight" we don't look as relaxed as we did a few months ago, but the pressure of being leaders must to a certain extent get to the guys.

Bit suprised at playing a narrow formation in the second half, but we won, it's 3 points and we've extended our lead again, so on paper everything looks OK. Regarding the game, Andy was not really to blame for the penalty. Flanners headed down the ball and due to the wonderful state of the pitch the ball "died" as soon as it touched the floor allowing thier player to nick the ball.  Andy had to come out and unfortunately caught their player. Overheard a couple of fans saying that Andy should be dropped after the game???? This is one of the best keepers in this league and we are fortunate to have hime with us.

The pitch at the car park end is in a bad state and needs sorting out.

I agree with Custard with regards to Andy Young. The only criticism I have regarding the goalkeeping situation is the lack of cover. I don't recall there being a reserve keeper on the bench and if that's the case we were taking a considerable risk. What would have happened if Andy had picked up an injury yesterday? xshrug

Jamie Coyle would've probably gone in goal, he's supposedly quite useful between the sticks.

It'll be my first league game since November, I think.

Hope for a good match and a very good win tomorrow.

With all due respect I don't see how you can make such in depth comments based on seeing one game since November  xwhis xwhis xwhis xwhis

Must admit having no back-up worries me as well ...a different ref may have even sent Andy off for yesterday's penalty offence (I would have been amazed if he had but I'm surprised he didn't even get a yellow for it)

Jamie might well be 'useful' in goal but of all the positions this is the most specialised ..is it a risk worth taking ??

Thanks to the weather I haven't actually missed that many games. But I do believe that there has been a decline in our performance level since October.

Maybe to someone who goes to every match the change isn't so obvious, but to me there is a very definate difference in the standard of our play, from defending, to passing to scoring.

Day's departure and injuries to key players at the same time didn't help our cause, and why should I worry too much considering our lead in the table, but,  o a certain degree as Champions Elect (yes I still believe we will win this league) the players have to realise that they are also playing for the right to compete yet again at a higher level as well as a championship winners medal.

I feel to a certain extent that nerves are a bit of a factor and that is understandable, but I can only comment on what I see in front of me and to be honest at one point I felt that we would have to score at least 5 goals to assure the win. As it was we were lucky that Ashford's finishing went off the boil and that Andy did his usual magic in goal. But we have to take our chances in front of goal.

I think that custards views are pretty accurate and bearing in mind that he is considered a " moderate "  ,  will NOT  in any way  be seen as negative  , often one can get a clouded view by watching each week and a  " one step back  " view is often more accurate

we are still [ justifiably ]  TOP of the RLP but even TBs latest comments on gary's pod have confirmed most fans views

see you ALL at horsham tomorrow [ weather permitting ??]

I don't think it's a considerable risk not to have a substitute 'keeper for the one game in 500 when you need him.
