HORSHAM MATCH OFF
« on: February 20, 2010, 06:48:21 PM »

No doubt some tired legs after today so looking to TB to freshen it up with Rook and Coyle starting for me. Another 3 points takes us over the 60 point mark and will have the chasing pack sh**ing themselves with games still in hand!!!

19-30pm kick off apparently...which is a pain as would have liked as much travelling time as possible after work but can't be helped by the hosts I guess!!!

Come on You Darts!!

The lads should feel good going into this one. We are in as strong a position now than we have ever been, ten points clear with three games in hand. The Wealdstone threat (coming from behind  xwhis) has all but gone, and we're later into the season of course. There's a hell of a ruck going on for play off places too, that can only help us. It would take a hell of a screw up to lose it from here.

Hmmmmmmmmm, potential banana skin here methinks. If we have to win ugly, I'll take that, but three points in style would be even better. Looking forward to it already.

I still believe that Horsham are one of the better teams that I have seen this season at PP and gave us one hell of a scare in the opening match.

reading the horsham match report their pitch yesterday was a " glue pot " and therefore unlikely to be much better on tuesday so expect [ no complaints ] another ugly grind out of 3pts for us !!!!!!!

reckon that with games coming up ,  tired legs will apply - expect 2/3/changes !!!!!!!!!!

Don't take any notice of the map printed in our programme yesterday, that's Worthing F.C. where Horsham played last season.

Two wins on the trot, 10pts clear with three games in hand and another opportunity to try and stretch our lead  xbop xbop xbop xbop

I will again be joining the choir behind the goal and will be trying to persuade as many others as possible to do the same.
The support at Tonbridge was fantastic and must have helped the players.
IMO we should try and replicate this at all games (especially away) and make us much noise as possible at Horsham.

We are closing in on the title and NOW IS THE TIME to get behind the team and really make that 12th man count.

When i left at 6 this morning it was hammering it down and did not stop raining until i got to Portsmouth.

So it must be a big doubt unless they have good drainage, but i havent seen many games called of there.
