Excellant result today with everyone giving 110%. Danny Harris, Burnsy and Bradbrook were superb chasing everything all game even after Elliott was clearly shoved into the metal fencing. DH clearly gets my motm vote. The defence was great today, hopefully Flans injury isnt to bad and he can shake it off for next week. Starting out in a 4 4 2 formation we was non stop attacking and couldve had more than our 1 goal lead. 2nd half started as the 1st half ended and Boreham Wood started pushing forward more looking to level and leaving many a gap at the back and only 1 team looking to score but with about 20 minutes to go we changed our formation to 4 5 1 with Burns dropping back and we ended up under constant pressure, thankfully we held on. A well taken goal by Bradbrook. Rook had a good game although not to affective towards goal, he laid off some nice balls and is strong on the ball, his legs had gone in the 2nd half with Robbie coming on to replace him. Well done Darts now 12pts clear with 4 games in hand.

we undoubtedly deserves the 3pts today with overall a very good performance against a team [ in form ]  in 3rd place

1st half we played very well with some great on the ground football and reall yshould have had at least 2 other goals to go with the excellent one eliot scored

the first 15 minutes of the 2nd half we also continued to play well but then TB decided to switch to 5 in the midfield [ burnsie dropping back into midfield] and then borehamwood put ubs under the cosh as basically they played the ball out wide and attacked us almost relentlessly although we did have a couple of break outs that could have sealed it

this is the 2nd week running that TBhas deployed this tactic and yes 6pts gained so guess its successful but it aint good for the fans nerves

ALL the team played well today but beales and flan at the back , eliot in midfield and by a slim margin my MOTM was danny harris
so 3pts gained , kingstonian lose and we march on

up the darts

I can remember a whileback when we went through a bit of a crisis of results (mostly draws) when the results all went for us. Now we're back to winning ways and the results are still going for us. The way this is going, we'll end up on about ninety points and everyone else on fifty seven , and and all the relevant places will be decided on goal difference!

Bit OTT? Well, after all, we just beat the third place team away and we really are a bit away on our own. Never seen a Dartford team like this one!

Excellent result and a very good performance from the lads.
Borehamwood had a good chance in the first five minutes which was saved well by Andy but other than that i can't remember them creating too many other good opportunities.

First half we were very impressive. We closed them down quickly, won possession and used it well. We had more confidence on the ball and played some very good football. Probably could have been another goal up at half time but well in control. Second half started well with more chances but after that we controlled the game without really pushing on and dominating. Although one nil is always a little nervy for the fans for any neutrals watching they would probably say we didn't look in too much trouble. Some good individual performances (Danny/Burnsy/Bradders in particular) but really a good team effort.

Must admit bit confused on some of the earlier posts as to me it looked as if Harris and Braders were wide with White/Johnson central and Burns playing in behind Rook up front. More of a 4-4-1-1 formation to me but whatever, well done lads.

MOTM for me Danny Harris, this guy is not only a very good player but he also works tirelessly for the team.

It looks as if we are getting back to our early season form and you can see this in the players, they have regained their confidence and they bloody well should have - have you looked at the league table xnod xnod xbow xbow xchurchill xchurchill xbop xbop xtip xtip

PS. The chasing pack teams behind us are still beating each other so there's really only one result we have to worry about each week xwhis

Well done to TB, his team selection was surperb today.  The performance during the first 30 minutes was the best I've seen Dartford play some time, just a shame we didn't score more in this period.

Danny Harris is my MOTM too

A very good win IMHO,we played some good stuff for about 65 minutes and then decided to go with 1 up front and break when we could.

MOM Danny Harris,he was everywhere,We should have scored at least 3/4 today but in all honesty BW had a lot of possesion in the last 15 minutes but didn't really trouble Youngy

I said that 80 points would be enough to win the league ,it could be less than that, but I want us to win this league in style and get as many points on the board as possible.COYDsssssss

A very good performance away against the team in third spot who were on a good run and we deserved the win despite the fans having to watch nervously for the last half 20 minutes or so, after Burns dropped back leaving only Robbie up front.

The team selection was spot on from Tony and the substitutions correct as we replaced tired/injured players and achieved the right result.

The first half was all one way bar BW's one shot in the opening minutes of the game and given the pitch was wet it still allowed some excellent one touch football and neither team resorted to lumping the ball up in the air.

Non stop running from Burns/Harris/Bradbrook meant BW were constantly under pressure and we didn't allow them to settle on the ball and when the goal came it was well worked and the chance created by Bradders as he moved into space took his time and fired home a low hard shot into the corner.

Several chances in the second half, the best two being a shot from Burnsie across the face of the goal and from Bradders as he dis-possesed the BW last man and saw his shot saved for a corner.

A quick and pleasant journey home and listened to Tony's interview in the car where he seemed very pleased with the performance and did say he had to make a changes in the second half asking a player/players to change his/their normal style.
(I presume this may have been asking Burnsie to drop back and/or  Robbie to stay up front on his own)

Well done Darts and as the pack behind again threw up those now to be expected dropping of points as we move even closer to the title.

M.O.M. Danny Harris but partly due  to the rest of the team putting in good performances.

What a thoroughly enjoyable performance. I think Tony got this spot on by choosing a system that not only made the most out of our key assets but also stopped BW from being able to play.

There were some great individual performances today and Bradders goal was class, however one man stood head and shoulders above everyone for me not only because of some exciting attackong play, but also because of his tireless work rate; well played Danny H. At times it seemed as if there was two of him on the pitch where he would charge up the line cross the ball and end up being the person on the end of it. 5 seconds later he was back as our last man putting in a vital tackle!

All our players performed well today but this work rate IMO is a key reason we are top and so far clear. Not only have we the skill to outplay teams we also stop them from trying.

A big resulst added to by once more all the others going our was. Well done lads this is great fun.

Not too much to add to previous posts, in particular re: Danny Harris who just oozes class. Hit the outside of the post after a chase to a wide right ball in the 2nd and generally just a joy to have in the team xbow                     Really professional job done on BW who didn't play badly although they'd probably say they could've got something out of us on their day. Flan's ball to Bradders for the goal was the best pass of the match, in fact there were positives to take from every corner of the pitch - Billy had a very good game indeed.                            The late corner was heart in mouth stuff, but the mighty Darts held on and look at us now!
