Agree if we can turn over ricay, that should set the lads up nicely with five home games during March

Hopefully the lads will be a lot more physical on Saturday against Ricay and won't let them bully us and knock us off the ball as they did at their place when we lost.

Looking forward to this immensely - as with every game from now to the end of the season - kind of glad we don't have any cup games to distract us from our goals now

Coming at this slightly differently as 'Ricay could inflict a 'double' over us....so lots of incentive for the lads on Saturday!!!!

in garys latest pod TB talks about using the squad to cover for the clutch of gamers coming and that even IfF the teams wins the gasme a couple of days earlier expect changes

obviously the right idea and several players whose work rate is exceptional harris, burns etc will be on burn out so exoect changes and subs after an hour , with due respect to other RLP teams

maybe this will start on saturday but [ selfishly] what a pity after the display at borehamwood

With no mid week match we will have a 'fresh' squad to choose from, the only worries will be the fitness of our hulk of a captain! With Tait getting match practice he will be challenging for a start soon and to be honest we have strength in depth. Waiting in the wings -  Hayes, Dafter, Coyle, Tait, Noble and Crouch etc, will be needed when we revert to 3-4 games a week soon.

Rotating the squad will ensure that there is freshness as we march towards the title.

Keep supporting the team vocally!

Well they've got that right so far (not) . so it'll probably be snowing/pi@@ing down come Saturday - let's hope not as we don't need another postponement!

So after last night, Kingstonian and Wealdstone both dropping points means Horsham and Sutton Utd are promoted to become our new biggest threat. Both of these can get a theoretical 89 points which means we currently need another 29 points from our remaining 16 games.

In reality of course, it would be a huge surprise if any of the chasing pack got close to 80 points and I wouldn't mind betting that the runners-up finish on around 75 points or less. With 16 games to go we could probably get away with winning only 5 of them ... although I wouldn't want to put this to the test. The players and management deserve huge credit for getting us into what is an absolutely fantastic position.

Sometime we get carried away on here, moaning about how we didn't win quite so spectacularly one week and little things like who should and shouldn't be playing and in what positions etc. In truth, we have had nothing other than spectacular success since we moved into Princes Park and everyone involved with the club (especially Tony Burman) deserve nothing but our respect and gratitude.

Lets remember how far we have come in such a short time and really get behind the team on Saturday and do our bit to roar the Darts on to what will surely be a thoroughly deserved championship winning season.
