In spite of the recently posted statistics about our results before and after the departure of Jamie Day, a player I rated highly, I still think it was the gap in fixtures caused by the weather which really marked the turning point. It has been like two separate seasons in many ways, one outstanding, the other below average.

Oh no. Rook capitalises on a mistake from the defender, dinks it over the keeper .... and it bounces just wide.

I think we can now stop moaning about not controling the midfield now ...our defence is so bad i can't see us keeping a clean sheet for the rest of the season.  Just got back from the match and disappointed is not the word ...just can't understand what has happened to the players ... if we do go up  - and at the moment it is a IF  - we will struggle.

Very disappointed as i'm sure the players and Tony are to.

It's not often I moan about the officials, but tonight.....? I wonder where the asst ref on the far side learned his offside rule: 3 times in the second half he flagged when the only person in an offside position was nowhere near the ball and definitely not active. With a performance like that, I can't wondering whether he got the "disallowed" call right in such a goal-line scramble. No wonder Elliot got booked for protesting.

Anway - yet again the away team come to PP and take away all 3 points. The general idea for the oppo these days seems to be defend in depth in great numbers and then breakaway rapidly: park the tank (disguised as bus) across the goal and then open rapid fire. The team tonight seemed totally devoid of ideas to break through the defensive wall. High balls into the box were all too common and all too fruitless, and ditto trying to thread balls through and little flick passes.

MOTM for me was Ryno, who seemed to be the only player likely to make things happen. Plus he was frequently back helping the defence out. And did you see after the equaliser, he ran into the net to collect the ball, and ran back to the centre spot to get play restarted asap because he wanted to win the match.

I thought Ryan Johnson also had a good game at right back.
