Time for the team to stand up and be counted!!! Performances have not been good enough recently so here is another game to right the wrongs.

I would push Burns back into centre mid next to Bradbrook as there is little point him being up top if he doesnt get any of the ball let him go back and create and generally prompt in the most important position in the side. Hayes on the LEFT (yes the left for the good of the team!) and Harris on the right. Any 2 of Tait Rook or Haworth up front!

Defence god knows if Flan isnt fit maybe Sawyer to get his boots on again?!?!?

By the way if this means Danny D misses out then he would be bloody unlucky as he has really played well the last 2/3 games!!

I cannot see how we cannot play Danny D, he has been strong  xshrug xshrug xshrug in the past few games, and has not picked up any cards as far as I'm aware

Because like it or not we are struggling big time and little point having Burns up front if we cant get him the ball!!!!!!!!!!

We need to regain and win the midfield in games and this means for me putting our best most influential player in there from the start alongside Elliot. We also have a plethora of strikers in fact the bench must be groaning under the wieght of them all so lets start using them especially now Tait is fit again!!

We need a result from this game to gain some confidence back, therefore I would like to see Tony select what he thinks is his strongest team that he has available.

Thereafter, all will be fine.

Come on you Darts !

Yeah great idea lets have our top leading goal scorer play in midfield. I DONT THINK SO. When Burns plays upfront we look dangerous and likely to score, he shouldve had 2 lastnight had the linesman not cocked up. If anyone id put Danny Harris alongside Daffy in central midfield or Elliott  and play Harris wide. Both solid skillfull players with footballing brains who have some pace and wont pull out of tackles. At present if i had to name a team i would go for Young, Burgess, Beales, Flans, Gross, Ryno, Daffy, Harris/Bradbrook (1 ctl mid 1 left mid doesnt matter which) Burns,  Haworth or Tait. Although slightly out of position you could play Johnson at RB as he didnt put a foot wrong lastnight, just a thought/option only if required.

5th it is more in trying to sort out the key area of the pitch which is the midfield. Trust me I dont want to take our leading scorer away from what he has been doing ie sticking the ball in the onion bag but the midfield needs a bloody good shake up and with all our strikers now fit and with The Burch to come back now is the time to shake it up!

Our goals have dried up and that for me is because we are not creating the volume of chances we were pre xmas and that in turn again for me comes back to what is happening or not happening in the centre of the park (Tonbridge 2nd half aside).

Burnsy was signed as an attacking midfielder dont forget but injury and circumstance meant he played the pre season as a striker with the rest being history! Other idea clone Lee Burns so we have 1 Lee Burns up front with the other Lee Burns in midfield!!!!

Amazingly, prior to Saturday's game we needed 8 wins and a draw from 14 games to guarantee the title.
We lost, but after the game found we only needed 8 wins from 13.
Last night we lost again and yet now with 12 to play, we only need 7 wins and a draw (probably only 7 wins given our goal difference).
The huge lead we amassed from earlier in the season has given us a cushion and amazingly, it seems that everyone else in the league is doing their level best to hand us the title.

It would seem rude not to accept it so please let's "have a go" right form the kick-off tomorrow.

DHS, I suppose it is also White’s fault there’s a world recession, an earthquake in Haiti, famine in Africa etc etc. He did not have the best of games against BW but there were quite a few poor performances across the pitch and he can’t be blamed for that. You need to move on and support “The Team” whoever pulls on that shirt because this type of negativity can only have a detrimental impact at a very crucial time.

We are still in pole position and in control of our own destiny. Bring on our next opponents.

Dont care how we get it, 3 points please, just 3 little points!!

How about starting with Burnsy and Haworth up front and once they have got a pleatherer of goals, then and only then, allow Rook and Tait to come on and have a go.

I have no doubt whoever we play upfront we can score goals, at present we need to revert back to some basics, like being a team thats hard to beat again !

We need to grind and scrap a few results together now similar to the Maidstone performance last week, not pretty but in control of the game and get the 3pts.

DJJ I am supporting the team dont you worry about that (and have been for 25 years) but there are things that at the moment need to be improved. The last 3 to 4 games hasnt been good enough and people keep clinging to 'Well we are x amount of points clear with games in hand' but that lead will be whittled down IF we don't turn our performances and results around.

In my opinion the midfield is the problem in particular central midfield where we are not creative enough or at present good enough!

Nobody seems to be advocating much of a change despite a pretty uninspired showing last night....yes from most of the players against not a great team in BW....that worries me as it states that people are satisfied with what the team offered last night and that can't be right can it?!?!? More of the same?? Not for me!!

For me a midfeild should consist of a two wingers, a defensive midfielder and a creative midfielder. We've got the wingers but seem to be playing two defensive players. As much as i like Whitey i feel we should play daffy (who seems to be in better form) and a.n.other creative player, maybe Noble or Harris?
