What a fantastic game of football that was.

After a slow start the game erupted into life after Rynos goal and never let up until the ref blew for full time.

We looked dangerous all through the second half and hit the woodwork twice and did more than enough to earn the 3 points. Really enjoyed Harris and Rook up top (Rook yep not on the score sheet but some excellent link up play with Ryno in particular). Ryno had a great day involved in everything and Elliot was superb driving the team foward.

Defensively not great but dont really care would rather win 4-3 and be regally entertained than win say 1 or 2-0 at a canter!!

Top effort all round lads as at 2-3 down would have been very easy too fold!! Though the choir was back on form and not many critical comments from the halfway line to report. Hastings well decent support and liked the number 6 glided around the park and looked an excellent young player!!

By the way liked Nobles attitute today had an effective game....although that 'tackle' could have been a red as was b**llock high!!! Didn't blame the female physio for not wanting to feel the injured area!!!!!

What a great game.  As previously said, Hastings certainly played their part and never gave up looking for the win.  I felt that their 5 & 6 went a little AWOL in the last ten minutes and suddenly we had a bit more space in the box which we used to great effect.  Perhaps they were pushing forward more in the search for the winner themselves.

Great support today at both ends of the ground.  It must help the players when there is some atmosphere in the stadium.

In the prediction contest, I said that we would win the league today.  We will know for certain in a few weeks time.  I hope that I was right for you could not find a much better way to cross the finishing line.

Top marks to all involved today.  Two old giants of the non-league game showing how it should be played.

Come on you DARTS!

Sounds to have been a great game. I'm gutted to have missed it. All three of us at home are at various stages of the flu. For the first time ever, listened to (some of ) the live commentary. Dragged myself out of bed just before half- tiime and heard the Danny H "shoulder" goal and the last 1/4 hour of the second half, for the two wiinning goals.

Maybe it was just as well I stayed at home - I'm not sure my consitution could have withstood the nerves!

Brilliant brilliant brilliant. Loved the commentary when the fourth goal went in (loved the fourth goal too!) Typical football that a team that comes to play a decent game go home pointless while others who simply came to kill the game stone dead went away with points in the bag. Still, for me today was a bit of a replay of that Waltham Forest (was it?) match last time we were champions. Last minute ecstasy and really when you look back over the season for a point where it all came together, matches like these are prime examples. Reckon we can go to Hendon buzzing, but for now another three valuable points and a huge silly grin to wear around the house tomorrow.

Still not come back to earth after a great gamer today...few comments on the Hastings forum..this one stuck out especially after the problems they had at Wealdstone

'Oh and just to add what a fantastic ground, facilities and friendly welcome we all received, a credit to non league football, which just heaps more disgrace on our totally incompetent council '

Seemed a good bunch of supporters (and from memory  they have been every time they've visited Princes Park)...good luck to them for the rest of the season ... a lot of credit must go to them for playing their part in a fantastic afternoon's entertainment.
