Right so where is it tonight then?  Off to 'Ricay to cheer a Sutton defeat maybe?

Tempted to go if others are going!

Just spoken to our secretary at Hendon.  Apparently we offered you the option of trying again tomorrow - but you're people turned that down.

Only option really is Thursday 22nd  -  once we take into account Wembley's home games as well.  We can't play Thursday 8th as Wembley are at home that evening.
That would mean ending up with three away games in five days !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   xshrug

Ok heres a better idea.  Good Friday 11 oclock kick off. they used to do this years ago. why not a one off? cant be much worse than playing Saturday, Tuesday,Thursday Saturday, all in the last week can it? But then again that would mean  Friday, saturday and Monday????   er.forget it.

Didn't your lot have two games that didnt get played back in 2001? Seems incredible that the league demands that some teams  lose a games income , because they wont budge on extending the season?

It wasn't the league who wouldn't budge on extending the season, it was the clubs.  If you extend the season by a week - the clubs then have to find an extra weeks wages for the players that hasn't been budgeted for.  At a special league meeting, a majority of clubs voted against extending the season.

Can't believe so many games are off, the weather's not been THAT bad. I know safety and travelling etc but, c'mon, the amount of postponements this season is just ridiculous.

It's not like it was in my day, when men were men.................back in the day...............blah blah..............i remember when this were all fields (actually i do)... etc...........etc............................

THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING.

We probably would've won the league ages ago if it weren't for the weather.
