The weather forecast is looking grim and the pitch at Capershots is absolute toilet.

Hoping this game will go ahead especially as K's v Sutton are playing Saturday. Waltham Abbey's largest crowd of the season is a paltry 187 against Wealdstone and their home average is 129.

Its not that far from Dartford( a short drive round the M25) so lets hope we take as many supporters as possible and turn it into a Darts home game (albeit, without the current patchy form :-D)

Is there a pitch inspection due?

We wont know until Friday at the absolute earliest - more likely Saturday morning.

Well I would be disappointed if we didn't beat the 187 on our own, even if none of theirs turn up.

Light rain forecast for today (Thursday), heavy shower forecast for Friday and Saturday. That's their local BBC forecast. I suppose it may depend on how long and heavy the showers are. It has to be doubtful, when would this fixture eventually get played ?

Or Wednesday 7th , I am sure Tony would prefer an extra days rest before the Kingstonian game

According to their website their under 18s are playing at home tonight on the pitch against Borehamwood. If so doesnt bode well for a Saturday game especially if it lashes down tomorrow and the groundsman cant get to work!

If the weather is a bit iffy surely better for them to PP tonights game and make sure they make the most of a Saturday visit from us to maximise revenue?!?!?
