I never found THE DUKE to be negative about the team , in fact he has always been supportive with the occaisinal well place critque

In The Duke's eyes he wasn't being negative and probably not in yours, or mine

He is more than happy to post his thoughts and can accept that others have differing views and certainly isn't put off by their comments, he is just taking a breather in the run up to winning the league.

He will not be at the game on Saturday as he is at a wedding, but with the service being at 1.00p.m. he will have the opportunity to leave his phone on during the reception, probably jumping up and interrrupting the speeches if we score.

Have you noyiced how selfish the non-footballpart of society are? A wedding on the day we may win the league? i've also been recently been the victim of anti football activities. Barbeque's, trips to a fun park and others have cheerfully been slung into may pathe between four and six on a matchday afternoon (Spanish time) and sadly, Mrs Shabby May I take this opportunity to state I will NOT be available for any sort of contact this saturday as Iplan to be hunched over the PC following the updates (dunno if I'll bother witha drum of an air horn, but young Shabby has a recorder so I may well whip myself into a frenzy with that) with thanks to Gary. And for those of you not yet married, let me inform you it's perfectly accaptable these days to marry in June or July (avoiding world cup fixtures obviously) and thus not annoy those of us who are'nt so frivilous with our spare time.

Given the fact that only Sutton have any chance of catching us now, and one point would see them bite the dust too, it's time to start celebrating.  I refuse to believe that we won't secure another point, or that Sutton won't drop one. Getting back to matters on the pitch I have to say that the Ks were probably the worst team I have seen at PP and if you have asked me after we thumped them 5-0 then I would have said certainties for relegation (especially as 3 days earlier they were whacked 1-6) so they have done bloody well to fight back and get as far up the table as they have done!!
