Totally agree with your comments and team selection Spike as this would also be my choice of players to start, with Shinny perhaps coming on for Daffy as it will be almost inevitable that he will be picked on by the referee for his style of play.

Aveley roughed it up for us at their place but hopefully they will be coming to play football at P.P. as they search for three points in their chase for a playoff place.

Totally agree, I think that Haworth may not play the whole game if he starts. Perhaps a chance to give Crouchie a run-out?  xwhis
I spoke to Adam Burchell this morning and he will be down there, although he hasn't featured too much recently due to loan/ban etc, he was involved earlier in the season so it would be nice for one song at least to show him he is welcome, he wants to stay next season and get a place in the team, good luck to him, his performance against Aveley back in the league cup was outstanding.
Whilst we're on the subject of that game, we lost 5-4, at home, which shows the determination of the Aveley team, yet we did not have our full strength out that night, Burchell played very well.
Also on the subject of Andy Young, is anyone going behind the goal with me?

I'll be there. Make a nice change to see the game from a different perspective and to give our fine custodian some well deserved support.

Song for tomorrow maybe? Considering it seems to be TB's favourite song or the only one he knows (sort of)

Lyrics to "You're too good to be true"

Borrowing some lyrics from spurs for a Paul Staltieri song we could sing the following:

Oh Tony Burman, you are the love of our lives
Oh Tony Burman, We'll let you sleep with our wives
Oh Tony Burman, I wish I was a courier too

Maison du Creme Anglais will be there in force tomorrow

Really looking forward to tomorrows game, should be a cracker  xbop xbop

Hopefully it will be part 2 of 3 in our celebration party, albeit a dry one for me as i have been volunteered as a chauffeur tomorrow night  xshake xshake

Still i've got my day pass (and Clive's £10 note) for Bognor so will make up for it then  xchurchill xchurchill

If the lads play with the same confidence they have recently it will take a very good team to beat us  xbow xbow

I'm gonna enjoy the last week of the season cos times like these are pretty special and don't come around that often  xnod xnod

Couldn't agree more WW, Aveley are a good side and are pretty quick, but if we play to our potential then we should be OK.

Make the most of this final week of the season lads and lasses because these sort of moments don't come around to often.

I would just like to suggest that for today's game we keep the ball on the deck and not hoof it into the clouds at the first opportunity, as any high ball could run the risk of entering this volcanic ash cloud, resulting in the game being cancelled.  xwhis

With the Lush carpet that is the PP pitch (unlike WA) we should be able to play football not 'up'n'under'

Let's be honest... we'll be talking to very few people today as everyone's going to be at Princes Park. It will be Mr Paul Philpot and myself on the end of the microphone, we will be asking about your champagne moments in football plus we'll ramble on about the match.

If for some reason you can't be at the game today, do join us at www.dartfordfootballclub.co.uk & click on the listen live area. Email is puredfc@gmail.com & we'll stay on air as long as we can afterwards with the presentations going on.
