Everyone must still be in the bar as no posts have hit the site yet.  It was a sham that we conceded the late equaliser as we should have wrapped up the game well before then.  Never mind.

Top marks to the club and the crowd at the end of the game.  The award presentation had just the right balance and was so much better than two years ago.  Yes the fans can be trusted to be sensible.

I hope TB has baby Ryno on contract.

Come on you DARTS!

It was an okay game, I thought we should have won. Oh well, the party-poppers that worked at the end where good.

Disappointed not to win, but hey - who cares. 4 goals away from 100 league goals, top by 17 points - champions.

Aveleys second goal was down to terrible state of the goal mouth Andy had it covered but it hit the deap sand which was more like a sea side beach after the kids had been playing, I will have words with the grounds men on monday when I go over to finish my job for them.
Any rate we didn't loose thats the main point, and I think everbody enjoyed the day, I did.

I want two wins and a draw now to get my fiver off Gary, Only joking three more wins will do nicely thankyou very much

I made it today with my 6 year old twin boys & 2 year old daughter.  Brave or stupid?   xshrug

What I managed to see of the game was good & I though we were the best team.  The kids & I made it onto the pitch & the boys got their photo taken in the goal.

Hopefully, I may be able to make it to a few more games now my kids are a little older.   /smug

Good performance today, but thought it was really the event of the day, and the fact that we are champions that stopped us from winning, we didn't really need to, as Aveley did!

Apologies if it's been mentioned somewhere else, but congrats to Lee Burns for winning Player of the Season (Ryno 2nd and Bradbrook 3rd)

Can't wait for Bognor next week now!

Agreed xnod  xnod Orderly and professional but still allowed everyone to enjoy themselves. It was good that everyone wasn't ushered off the pitch straight after either.
Well done organisors  xtip

Great day. The pace of the first half was fast considering the heat on the pitch, thought it could have 3 each at half time. For me Billy and Danny Harris must have covered the whole pitch, and I thought that Dan Dafter came on very strong in the second half. I thought that Aveley were an average side, not the best we've seen, but deserved their point, they didn't give up, and obviously relished playing in front of the big crowd. Their No8 Matt Johnson had a good game.
A good all round performance from the lads, no one had a bad game, but for me Danny H shaded it ahead of Billy who was like a puppy up and down the pitch.
