Sorry Gary.

Back to the thread: yeah i'd like to see crouchy get some more games in before the end of the season. Will be better for him, imho, than pre-season freindlies. Plus maybe one or two others from the U21 getting a run out.

Yeah apologies Gary.

The line-up I would like to see would ideally have regulars such as Young, Tait and co, but also with some youngsters like Crouch, Baigent and so on. There is also a player called Barber I believe?

Think im gana have to miss this one since its over half an hours walk from the nearest train station and bad enough to get to from london anyway.

Hoping for another victory like last night but a bit more in front of goal. Had a good few chances last night that normally would have been put away.

Nows a great chance to see fringe players/new tatics and also allowing all the players to play without worry and relax abit more. But not too much! 3 points is still expected every game!

would like to see Burns stay in the first 11. He could have had a few tuesday, but looked like he forgot the shooting boots, so he could easily make top scorer still.

Besides, he is always a hard worker, and hasn't played a fair bit of the season.

Constructive criticism?? Don't get it. If it's still criticism, how is it constructive?

I got a chance to speak to T.B. at the reserve game on Wednesday, he says that he won't be resting anyone for Saturday.

Well Ryno, Rob, Beales, Harris and Daffy were all on the bench on Tuesday and I didn't see either Burgess or Rook at the game. I wouldn't be surprised if several of these featured in tonight's game and maybe one or two of the "regulars" who did play Tuesday are rested tonight. We could then put out our best 11 on Saturday and almost all of them would only have played one full game midweek. I'm not sure about Gross ... he limped off the other night, has he recovered okay?

Of course, it all depends on who you think our best 11 are ... personally, at this moment in time, I'd like to see the same 11 that started at Kingstonian start against Aveley on Saturday. I think they are the guys in form and the team looked cohesive and well balanced. Saturday is the most important game we have left and it would be nice to put on a show for what will surely be a bumper crowd.

Anyway, whoever gets picked for tonight's game, as long as the attitude is as good as it was on Tuesday then I'm very confident because we don't really have any bad players in the squad. Even my least favourite player would have been my favourite just a few years ago. We have come a very long way in the last 4 years.

It's great fun being a Darts' fan these days.

I am quite confident in saying that any Dartford eleven selected to play from the current squad with the right mix of course, can win any of the remaining games we have to play.
Our problem is having to cope with the luxury of already being CHAMPIONS :-) and other teams wanting to beat us not only because of our recent achievement but for their own incentives which remain.
However, I am still relishing the feast of football on offer over the next two weeks, what a season !

Without wishing to upset Rambo....I would really like to see Whitey have a go at centre half in at least one game before the end of the season....please bear with me here!

I honestly don't think he is quick enough on his feet to play centre mid in Conference South next year....however I see he can play football, and can pick a pass, and has the stature for me of a top class centre half very much in the Terry Ratchford mould for those who remember the Stonebridge Road days and our young ex skipper.

The fact that at centre half all the game will be in front of him will also be of benefit. If he can look at someone like Flan (32/33 years old) who is not the quickest but reads the game so well and loves a tackle and Sawys takes him under his wing in the summer I reckon we will have a top class centre half in our midst who can play there for the next decade!!

My sentiments entirely DHS  xnod and IMO i think this is the role the lad will eventually end up playing.
May I also state the point that i think he is our most improved player this season and deserves some recognition for his efforts.

Well done Whitey  xtip

Waltham Abbey are desperate for points. I fancy them to get something out of the game tonight at 4/1 to win and 5/2 the draw.
With the weekend just around the corner, maybe we'll save our best for the Princes Park party on saturday against high flying Aveley. xfinger
