Hendon (A) - Thursday 22nd April
« on: April 21, 2010, 01:04:12 PM »

Well it may be a "dead rubber" but here's hoping we maintain our standards and keep the unbeaten run going.

Plus we only want 3 more goals for the 100.

By Car
From A406/A40 Hanger Lane Gyratory take the A4005 (Bridgwater Road) towards Sudbury & Harrow. Stay on this road, following signs for Harrow until you reach the roundabout with the A404. Take the 2nd exit continuing towards Harrow and travel under the railway bridge past Sudbury & Harrow Road station. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit (Watford Road). Then take the 2nd exit into the Vale Farm complex, and the ground is on the right hand side.

By Train
London Overground services run every 20 minutes (30 minutes on Sunday) to North Wembley Station between Euston and Watford Junction. Turn left out of the station along East Lane and follow to the end. Left again down Watford Road and Vale Farm is signposted on the left. The ground is on the right hand side. Sudbury & Harrow Road on Chiltern Railways only offers nominal services during rush hour. Turn left out of the station along Watford Road and take the right hand fork. Vale Farm can be found signposted on the right hand side.

By Tube
Frequent Bakerloo Line services run to North Wembley (see above for directions) and Picadilly Line services run to Sudbury Town at regular intervals. Exit Sudbury Town through the main ticket hall (southbound platform) and walk straight down Station Approach then turn left to the roundabout. At the roundabout walk up Watford Road (second exit, under the railway bridge) then take the right hand fork. nd take the right hand fork. Vale Farm can be found signposted on the right hand side.

By Bus
Buses 182 (Harrow Weald to Brent Cross) and 245 (Golders Green to Alperton) travel along Watford Road every 7-8 minutes (12-15 minutes in the evenings).

If my car wasn't clapped out...I'd show him the way (my mum lives about 2 miles from the ground!)....but there's width restrictions the way I go...so probably wouldn't want to get the coach stuck in a 6ft 6!!  xgiggle

I'll be on that coach. Hope the driver doesn't get it wrong. Otherwise, he'd be width - restricted into a 6ft 6ins deep excavation...

Many of you likely to make the trip this evening - or have you all gone to Bognor already?  :-D

Congratulations on the Championship - thoroughly deserved.

Congratulations on the Championship - thoroughly deserved.

I would guess there won't be that many - I think Bognor tomorrow (for most of us, it seems!) coupled with the fact that this'll be the 4th away game in 9 days might see to that.

Hopefully HendonPaul will have his cash out in the bar to congratulate us for helping him win a few bob :D

Unfortunately Paul's working tonight.  I know he wanted to be there.

It's a shame that the weather conspired against us this season so that we won't be able to welcome your usual travelling numbers.

Totally understand the situation though  -   I'd far rather go to Bognor than Wembley!

Come on lads lets get up to 90 points tonight and 100 goals - massive game aswell tonight that will play its part on our game against Bogna. Maidscum v Bogna - Bogna could go down tonight or if they win they could stay up on Saturday by beating us !!!!! Would it be better if Bogna won so they play a nervious attacking game against us on Saturday what would suit us ? Plus do we want Bogna to have a fighting chance or Maidscum to go down ?

Unfortunately The Video Crew will not be there to-night So a 2-1 win will do (So we can record our 100 League Goal at Bognor) xnod xnod
