Fitting that we should collect another 3 points on our travels to round off the campaign!

55 points from a possible 63 away from home is quite simply an immense display all round!! Fact that we maintained this away form despite having won the league is down to the players and managers and thier superb attitiude and appetite for wins!!

Next season we have an all round goal scoring threat that other teams should be worried about and if we can bring in some pace at the back then who knows what we can do next term!!! I may even stick another wager on us!!! :-)

Fair play to Dover runners up in their first season in the conference South and home to Woking in semi finals of play offs.

Chelmsford (remember them they had barely won a game when they beat us in the cup) 3rd and home to Bath City in play offs.

Travelling wise come on Bath City say I!!!

Noble injured before half-time, bleeding quite badly from cut near ear. Replaced by Hayes.

Attendance given as 868, with Bognor site estimating between 500 and 600 from Dartford.

And how many of that 500-600 were still genuinely sober come kick-off at 3.00 pm? xwhis I trust the Waverley did you proud, guys!

Well that was a fantastic day out to end a fantastic season. The build up in the Waverley before hand was great and the walk to the ground was unbelievable. I bet the locals must have been wondering what an earth was going on what with all the noise !
Great afternoon all round and of course, another Darts win ! Some nice football played as well and we weren't troubled at all by a Bognor side already down.
We are all proud of Tony and his boys and definately looking forward to next season and some new grounds to visit and of course, a nice local derby with Ebbsfleet !!!!!

our day started very early my 6 year old george was raring to leave at  a silly time this morning!
on a personal note from myself i would like to thank all those dfc fans at the waverley
my boy was amazed at the flags ,balloons and superb support at the pub
im from a family who have never liked football and wasnt lucky enough to attend football at an early age
some of my family questoined whether it was safe to take a young kid to an away game...well he has been three times away this season, and came home full of memories of today, and bored his mum to death talking about it!
thanks to those of you that came over and spoke to us and to the fella who got my son to sign his shirt
which i  beleive is going to be putn up in the bar area.
the walk to the ground was amazing, thanks again dfc supporters you did the club proud today....
oh and one final thing thanks to the lads who sang "get yer tits out for the lads" to the bognor physio
my boy sang it to the wife :-o great fun!!
see you all at the pre season friendlys  THANKS DANNY

Thought the atmosphere during the game (especially during the 2nd half!!) was amazing, the loudest we've been for a while! Enjoyed the walk to the ground, the moments including singing 'who are ya' at cars, and then a Darts fan deciding to use someones garden trampoline! A few people in cars did look rather shocked tbh!
Didn't realy watch the game too much anyway, but have lost my voice.
Well done DFC and see you all (including Ebbsfleet) in BSS next season!

What a great day out!!

My little girl loved it. She met Rocky Bear and got a key ring with him on it from the club shop. The fans from both sides were great today. Poor old Rocky bear got a bit of a rough reception from the Darts fans tho. I'm sure the bloke in the costome has got a proper job apart from dressing up as a bear- for those that chanted at him! I also liked the Bognor chant "we've got a Butlins, we've got a Butlins - You aint!!" from the Green army. Great atmosphere,  a few goals and great weather.

I'm still wondering who won the Grand Prix on the seafront, Yes, the Darts fans with the red numbered away shirts on riding the battery ride on's after the game. The wife and I were in hysterics watching. Credit to them though.. they never stopped singing while they were racing!!

It's a shame Dartford won't be playing the rocks next year.

Would you believe that Rocky is filled with my Mother in law to be (Sarah) , shes done it for a good few years and days like today are what its all about. You boys & gals were all a credit to the club.

I can't believe that was Sarah in the suit  :-o :-o The same Sarah we met when we you lot came up to PP. Hat's off to her for that. I couldn't believe the quality of the pitch the Rocks had, it looked a superb playing surface from the sidelines and talking to Daffy dring the game he was saying that he was glad he wasn't playing on it. Sad that the game had nothing to play for, would've been interesting if they'd had to win to relegate Maidstone - I wonder how many of us wouldn't have minded losing in THAT situation  xwhis xwhis xwhis
All the pics I took at the Waverley and in the bar after the game will be up on my Flickr site later, I will post a link here when they are done.

I have to admit it was 'a Grand Day Out'  xtip xtip xtip to the Waverely for the hospitality AND 'several' decent pints of REAL ALE xbow xbow xbow I am glad I didn't have to miss it.
